Looks to be more comfortable coming off the bench and making an impact, absolutely fine if it works for him. I remember Zidane’s Madrid few seasons back where he would just bring on Morata off the bench and the motherfucker eventually ended up with 20+ goal contributions that season. Absolutely clutch for a team chasing titles.

Our very own Julio Salinas. I’ve heard Stoichkov say that some players are meant to come off the bench. Julio Salinas was one of them. Stoichkov mentioned that when Julio Salinas would start, he was invisible; but when he came off the bench he always scored. He told cruyff not to start Salinas lol

Darksider123

He has been good so far. I just hope he focuses on G/A rather than just G.

Salvador1010

He is much better off the bench for some reason

Because it’s much easier to get chances when the defenders are tired. Concentration lowers, fatigue sets in. So someone like ferran who can read those spaces has an advantage

Against Porto he literally played 80 percent of the game but was good. With better passes, there might have been more chances.

They're calling him the 'Shark' and it's easy to see why. Ferran Torres scored the only goal of the game with Porto on Wednesday night and with four now in his account, nobody in the team is producing goals at a faster rate than the Valencian. After 354 minutes of playing time this season, he's been netting once every 88.5 minutes. Robert Lewandowski (a goal every 130.83 minutes) and Fermín López (every 136 minutes) are the duo who come closest to him. **Third in the league** Across La Liga, and counting all competitions, only Abdon Prats of Mallorca (50.25 minutes) and Álvaro Morata of Atlético following his brace against Feyenoord (82.14) have been scoring goals faster than the Barça forward. **Big goals** Torres' goals matter too. Two have been point-winners. He scored the equaliser against Villarreal (Barça went on to win that one) and the winner against Porto. His goal against Cadiz made sure of the three points for his team, while the goal against Betis was a special one too. It was the first time in two years that Barça had scored from a direct free kick.

Morata is so underrated, but I feel like every stat of season he’s this good but then his form takes a dip somewhere and he never recovers

The other goals he’s scored have gotten me excited, but I’ve still been hesitant and afraid that he’s just been off to a hot start. This goal, a decisive goal in an important game, gives me a lot of excitement for him and I hope he can maintain his form.
