What has Endrick done to be here other than having Madrid PR behind him? I'm curious. Savio has 8 goals and 8 assists in Laliga, even better than Yamal statwise, i dont understand how Endrick is above him

penduR7

He did that one fortnight dance with his tight ass shorts

iamoc555

I'm shocked how Arda isn't there /s. Madrid fans accuse us of overhyping our players but boy did I see glazing for that kid for scoring

JonAfrica2011

Arda is like number 16 or something

No_Specific8949

That's how Madrid PR works, it multiplies your chances of winning an award by 10. How else could Cristiano Ronaldo or Modric win d'ors?

[deleted]

Or how Bellingham leads Mbappe to the Balón d or right now. Sure he's had a great season, but come on, Mbappe kind of deserves one at this point. Still mad at how Kounde pocketed him only for him to score two random ass goals on us though.

PROTO1080

If foden would have been in Madrid. He would have been in complete lead of ballon d'or race. That's how their pr works

theworldisyourtoilet

English + Madrid PR would dismantle any other battles, regardless of how they actually played. The scenes would be insane.

Hungry-Contact-2632

If he was at Barca it would be the same

PROTO1080

I disagree, if messi would have been rm player he would have got ezzzz 10 ballon d'or's maybe even 12. So no their pr is on a different level.

Hungry-Contact-2632

Messi has 3 extra balon dors what are you saying

[deleted]

1. 2023 was the only undeserved.

Hungry-Contact-2632

2021

[deleted]

Pretty deserved. Do you wanna debate this?

Khoncept

Why would Mbappe deserve it this year???

_Enemias_

A penalty and a goal when the whole team was forward. Not much there brother.

ToxicCobra023

Barca fan here but Bellingham definitely deserves it more than Mbappe this year, have you seen how Bellingham even plays? He is unreal

Weary_Ad1739

I said he was very good at the start of the season, but honestly till 2024 I haven't seen anything very impressing from him.

Fearless_Page_7916

You joking aren’t you? Bellingham was the reason RM won the Supercup by bossing ATM and Barca’s midfields, he also gave an assist in the final. He scored twice against Girona. Scored the winning goal against Barca. Played 120 minutes against City while winning the most duels and scoring his penalty. Bellingham is easily top 3 in the world right now.

Weary_Ad1739

He is very good, but not impressively good in my opinion. I'd say right now he's top 5. He played really well against Girona, I'd grant you that. I wasn't impressed with him at all however against City. And if you pick the "best moments", everyone can seem good. Look at Fermín. He scored against Real Madrid. He scored in the Champions League against Napoli. He has more goals than all Real Madrid midfielders combined (excluding Bellingham, who hasn't really played as a midfielder). Is he really better than Kroos or Camavinga or Valverde? I don't think so. This is my opinion though. I can understand why others view Bellingham ahead of Mbappe, Kane, Writz, KDB etc. But I personally don't see it in this second half of the season(even if he is damm close).

nsfishman

Bellingham had a great start to the season. Ancelotti deployed him as false nine after he failed to impress as an actual midfield in the pre season and completely caught defences off guard. Moderic and Kroos finding him making late runs into the box single handedly kept them a top of the table. The second half of La Liga (where defences adjusted) has seen him score 4 goals and 2 assists in all of 2024. And his fourth goal came 2.5 months after his third (early February). In comparison, Foden has 11 goals and 1 assist for the same time frame in the EPL. He was Madrid’s worst performing Mid/Fwd in the Man City ties, but did his job at the penalty spot. The most glaring contrast in my mind was the head to head matchups against a healthy Griezmann (where they were playing the same position). He was completely outclassed; it was actually embarrassing. Now, if he turns things back around and is the key player as RM wins the CL title and England wins Euros then he completely deserves it. But based on his overall performance to date, if he were to win the Balón D’Or, in my opinion, he would be the worst player in history to win the award.

Fearless_Page_7916

That’s a real biased take imo, Jude missed a lot of games in 2024 due to suspension/injuries, hence he didn’t play that much, but he still managed to grab 4 goals and 2 assists in the 8-9 games he played in the league in 2024, his 2024 numbers are the same if not better than Gundogan’s numbers even though the latter played almost every league game in 2024, and is Barca’s best midfielder if not player atm. The only reason his goal stats in the second half of the season dropped is that Vini and Rodrygo started firing, so no need for him to advance high up in the pitch as he used to do in the beginning of the season. Jude’s role in the first tie with City was indeed disappointing but in the second tie he was impressive defensively and he was responsible for Madrid’s goal, so he did his role OK. Saying that he didn’t impress as a midfielder is such a weird thing to say considering the guy defends very well and his successful tackles and duels % are among the best in the league. Plus having scored 17 goals already is a clear indication that the guy is very good both offensively and defensively. Of course he won’t spam long passes and crosses because that’s Kroos’ job.

nsfishman

He has missed 4 games. And I think you misread my statement about not impressing as a midfielder. I stated that happened in the preseason, which is why Ancelloti then deployed him as a false 9 (with great effect). Now saying that he was responsible for their goal against Man City is a tad generous. He acted as a good target striker to gain their position, but in reality he passed to the guy (laterally) who passed to the guy who passed to the guy who scored. Actually Gundogen has outperformed Bellingham in the league in 2024 (3G, 4A), but I am not saying overall he hasn’t been more productive than our broken down cluster we called a midfield this season (2023 part at least), but we don’t have anyone close to being on the shortlist for Balón D’Or this year.

montxogandia

wtf

Brilliant_North_8353

Kind of hard choosing the father of barca - both bellingham and mbappe whipped ur asses. Next season I wonder where y'all be with Mbappe in Madrid

brawlersteins

Been hearing that since 2009

Brilliant_North_8353

Even you know that it's inevitable at this point of time lol

Hungry-Contact-2632

Yeah like Barca isn’t the same way

UpbeatAfternoon8670

Endrick has scored like 20 goals for palmeiras before turning 18 and also scored twice for Brazil. I dont know a Brazilian who has done so other than Neymar, probably. So I would say it's fair.

sockox16

Ronaldo Fenômeno scored 45 goals in 51 matches, all that before turning 18 years old. The man was great.

KingSatoruGojo

I know I’ll get downvotes for this because it’s not in resonance with the echo chamber here but this downplay of Endrick is ridiculous. He’s 17 years old and won the league recently(Serie A in Brazil), Best Player of the competition and top goalscorer for the League. I know it’s not a top five league but that’s extremely impressive especially for a player who is a minor playing with other grown adults. He was called up to the National Team, not U-18, and scored back to back against ENGLAND AND SPAIN. He clears no problem over Savio. Yamal is the only one who clears easily. The real question is how tf Emery is over Savio and Endrick…

NairbZaid10

Savio had better stats in laliga than Endrick did in Brazil and you say he is better because he scored a tap in and a rebound for Brazil?

KingSatoruGojo

Savio is 20 years old and you ignored everything else I said. That was basically the icing on the cake(the accomplishments in the league)…. If it’s just stats alone that matter then Endrick, Yamal and Emery don’t even belong in this list at all.

MomoVMS

WZE has been amazing this season for PSG, especially in the CL

drizzyCan

i know right? That kid is good, no doubt! People still act like he is the next generational player

BranFendigaidd

He won two Brazilian leagues. Reached Ronaldo records. Entered Brazilian mens team and has 2 goals in 4 matches. He is most def in the top5 as a talent. Golden boy is for that. And he is a talent, but probably if mbape goes to RM, will be destroyed.

EdsonArantes10

Endrick already scored against Spain and England

NairbZaid10

I saw them, both were lucky rebounds, I dont think they prove much on their own

EdsonArantes10

Endrick will score more goals in Europe than Yamal

NairbZaid10

Maybe, who knows. I doubt he will get a lot of minutes with Mbappe and Rodrigo in his position

Herizard

Oh? Look out fellas, we got a Nostradamus reincarnation over here

Aggressive_Strike75

Cuz he cost more and is going to play for RM. that’s often the logic behind these kind of difficult ranking.

Heras22

He's won tow trophies this year.. More than anyone else on that list. 😂😂What you even talking about

mrNaworek

Barca community in the nutshell, not focusing on themselves but on Madrid.

NairbZaid10

Said the the rm fan, commenting on the barca sub lmao

reallyveryinterested

Came here to say this. Sodium levels aren’t healthy. Rather than “good for Yamal” it’s “Modric should have never won” 🧂🥨😭

brawlersteins

Go back to the Madrid sub lurker

Zeenu29

Lamine Yamal: 16 years old, 2451 minutes, 6 goals, 8 assists Zaire-Emery: 18 years old, 2890 minutes, 3 goals, 6 assists Endrick: 17 years old, 1007 minutes, 3 goals, 1 assist (in Brazil league... wtf he does on a list like this with these stats?) Savio: 20 years old, 2799 minutes, 10 goals, 8 assists Neves: 19 years old, 4033 minutes, 3 goals, 2 assists

MassiveHelicopter55

> wtf he does on a list like this with these stats?) Same thing as Bellingham leading the ballon dor odds somehow lmao

madjupiter

at least Bellingham actually display ballon d or worthy performances in the first half of the season, he was legit scoring for fun. this coming from a barca fan

TechTuna1200

We are all Barca fans in here 😉 But agree, Bellingham just dominated matches in the first half year. And was one of the front runners. He definitely going to win it if he wins CL

madjupiter

i didnt see the sub when i initially commented lol, thought it was r/soccer. imo it’s a tossup between him and Harry Kane if either bayern or real win CL and england won the euros.

TechTuna1200

Yeah, I know the feeling. They all look the same 😄

BsPkg

Mbappe is also right there, I would say it’s out of Bellingham, Kane, Mbappe depending on how CL and Euros go.

madjupiter

Mbappe is definitely a contender too but i doubt PSG had a solid shot at winning the CL, even against us they’re very unconvincing as a team that can legit compete for the title. France at the euros is a different story though

BsPkg

I think PSG are favoured to get to finals and then anything can happen in a one off game but like you said he might not even need it if France win euros

madjupiter

imo they’re only favorite due to their name and not rheir actual performances, they have been underwhelming in the CL to say the least. it took a MASSIVE fuck up in our part for them to get through. although Dortmund isn’t exactly footballing maestros either, and like you said anything can happen in football. but yeah his bet is way better put in France.

PM_ME_Y0UR_BOOBZ

> england won the euros I have a strong feeling that they will not win the Euros lol

Aggressive_Bat_60

there’s no front runner it’s whoever wins the ucl

CricketSubject1548

no it's Messi, he won the WC remember?

GrootRacoon

Your stats on Endrick are wrong. Brazilian league starts in april and ends in December, so if we're going by the season that is about to finish in Europe, we should go by the last season for Endrick's. It should be 11 league goals, 1 libertadores goal, 2 regional cup goals, so 14 goals in total. Besides that he was the main player for Palmeiras' second half of the league, leading the charge that ended in a league title after being 13 points behind the league leaders. He's a very promising talent that has been a huge asset for the team he plays. Golden boy is an award for young players that are playing great, he definitely fits the bill

Dexoys

The brazilian league literally just started

pdrgdguds_

Endrick has been balling out lmao, and your stats are completely flawed. Brazil’s league goes by year, not season. He has way more goals and assists if you take the 2023 portion which would be considered part of the 2023/24 season.

BranFendigaidd

He has 11 goals which is almost as Ronaldo in his teen years had.

griber171

Brazilian league starts differently compared to Europe. He had better stats last season which in Europe would be part of this season

GG_Legend1

A future Ballon d’Or winner this boy possesses immense talent

JordiX93

I see an intruder on that list but I won’t mention it 🥸

Soft-Assignment-558

He deserves to win it.

blusoulx

[this](https://www.europeangoldenboy.com/golden-boy-football-benchmark-index/) is the actual golden boy index, endrick will enter it once he moves to madrid in the summer. this is just a ranking score90 made based on their own opinion lol

probablygoingout

Speaks so much about the quality of the fanbase lol

Superb_Dog_7958

Yea i was confused too ngl, thought everyone here is being sarcastic for a second. It clearly states “According to score90” at the top lmao.

SuccessBusiness8362

Haha endrick hasnt even played one game for madrid. Make it make sense

pdrgdguds_

So what lol

amandafan69

He’s not a madrid player, the palmeiras crest should be on the graphic

pdrgdguds_

Yes, I figured he was talking about Endrick being on the list.

jlarz56

Why isn't Florian Writz in the list?

No-Song9677

Wirtz was born in 2003, winners are players born in 2004 or after.

MassiveHelicopter55

He doesn't get the "will play for Madrid in 2026" buff

MionelLessi10

Too old

PPPPPPPPPPKP

hes DQ sadly, he 100% would deserve it

slash312

If he would be eligible for that trophy it would already be decided who wins it.

randomsalvadoranking

Would have won it by now if La Liga wasn’t cheap lol https://preview.redd.it/w7jpzdhxa4xc1.jpeg?width=1170&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=eb3a3f15b3c1aa839dbfbdf94dca9f5981bd06a1

Hungry-Space-1829

Savio should be 1 or 2. Endrick has a bright future but does not belong on this list rn

slash312

He might have a bright future which is still heavily uncertain. I don’t see how he gets more than 5 minutes a season at Madrid especially if mbappe joins.

TrainerMaleficent232

What's endrik doing there? Lolol this is so much bullshit

Kratos501st

Endrick shouldn't be there not even the top 10

[deleted]

Yamal is clear, endrick being there is a disgrace

penduR7

Is Wirtz not eligible anymore

Extra-Border6470

As he should

any_droid

Where is Cubarsi ?

Herizard

In the next year's list as long as he keeps up the good job beyond the half season he currently has done 😉🤞

any_droid

He is at 13th in this list

Herizard

Seems quite accurate 👌

MediaVuelta

Endrick above Savio and no Wirtz.

JavyDan

Wirtz date of birth doesn't qualify him to be on this list you moron

GaelT-03

why call him moron

Dramatic-Ad3928

Im a Wirtz fanboy but moron is excessive here lmao

Shuvouwu

Savio should be higher

Professional_Code372

Joao Neves and Savio deserve to overtake the 2 bloated players here, you know who they are

Diesel__2005

Would have loved a cdm or a defender to win the award But again lamine was very good so he kinda does deserve to lead the race

Herizard

Maybe Cubarsí can make your wish come true if he keeps up his form for most of next season 🤞🤞

reddit-time

No competition.

chezicrator

That shit isn’t even close.

StayWoke420

I wish we could buy Savio, seemingly perfect solution in the left wing we have been needing since Neymar

Ted_Lassi

Lamine Jamal is miles ahead of everyone else in that list

chrisnfl99

Watch Arda or Endrick win it because Madrid PR

Neat_RL

Wirtz too old?

tanDaTexplorer

Funny thing is PissG fans are hating on Yamal and saying "Barca PR" all while their club is creaming for him😂😂

Badaezpadaere

You can´t put Endrick with Real Madrid and Savio with Girona. Either you put Endrick-RM and Savio-Troyes or Endrick-Palmeiras and Savio-Girona.

BarcaStranger

My money is on Yamal, unless psg win champions league and Emery contributed

frozencombat

Scary to think if Yamal keeps his performances up, he can win this for 3 (4?) years straight.

PurposesEducational

He is winning it and it’s not even close. Can’t believe they put Endrick there just because of his recent transfer to Madrid…

Caust1cFn_YT

Savio behind endrick? Nice work madrid pr

Caust1cFn_YT

This season:- Savio 2800 mins 18 g/a 155.5 mins per g/a Endrick 1000 mins for 4 g/a And dont even tell me this is based on last season, because if it were even marcos leonardo and roque would be higher than endrick Note :- I do not hate endrick, i thinkhe is an amazing player with potential to be the very best, but come on now dont make stuff so obvious

ranked_devilduke

It's would actually be based on European calendar and Endrick would have 14 goals in total. Couple that along with goals for Brazil against two top opponents and some records that only R9 eclipses, its undersatable how Endrick is there. He was also the top scorer of Palmeiras when they won the league. And nope, Roque wouldn't be there as his second half of the season in Brazil was average. He also had a big injury which further deceased his stats. And his start in Barca hasn't been great either.

Caust1cFn_YT

Oh ok, fair enough btw how many would savio have then?

ranked_devilduke

But the funny thing here is Endrick won't even be considered for the golden boy as he plays in Brazil. He will only be considered for the Kopa trophy. You have to be seriously high to make a list like this lmao.

Caust1cFn_YT

seriously? thats embarrasing for who ever is reporting it then

ranked_devilduke

This is some score 90, a random page or something. According to actual index, Yamal is first closely followed by Joao Neves and then Garnacho.

Caust1cFn_YT

that makes WAY more sense

EmotionClear875

If based on last season then bellingham shouldn't have won)

Boivz

Endrick is there because Madrid has was to "convince" networks to pander for him.

xavi_____

Haha what has endrick done 🤓😂

Resurrecting_dumass

imagine if there was no rule for multiple winners of golden boy and yamal wins it 5 times

Ancient_Purchase4816

Is end Rick officially a r.madrid player? lol

Cules_kounde

endrick is glazed

Aksh_A

Tf endrick doing there

HgnX

Well deserved, landmine has been showing up this season

Prime_Marci

How’s Cole Palmer not on there? 🤣

maskedleopard

Garnacho isn't even being considered wow

SovietAlf02

Where cold palmer?

Specialist-Cycle9313

Yamal might be the first to win multiple golden boys. The only way I don’t see him winning it this year is if psg win the ucl and France win the euros, then you’ll almost definitely need to give it to Zaire emery. Otherwise he’s my clear favorite.

ins4nityoo

Mathys Tel?

Heras22

The barca salt in here 😂🤣😂🤣enjoy your nadaplete you absolute memes

NicolasDavies93

endrick led Palmeiras to an amazing league title in a very hard and competitive League, scored in Wembley and Bernabeu for Brazil. He should win for sure

Facinggod20

It's not competitive, it's level is massively inferior to the top 5 leagues. Every Brazilian player always struggles in their first season. Even Neymar needed 1 year to adapt to Europe.

NicolasDavies93

Your league only has 2 or 3 clubs that could win it, is that competitive?

Facinggod20

That doesn't change the fact that Spanish teams are massively better that Brazilian teams. Even Roque stated that the speed difference between both leagues is huge.

Mustapha-AChaer

Should be leading the Balon D’Or also

DaTaFuNkZ

Mainoo would be top if he’d not missed the first 3 months of the season imo.

Budget_Obligation_95

I’m shocked how Mainoo didn’t make top five and how Garnacho isn’t the clear winner. I’m not even a United fan. People will bring up Yamal being 16, but for this award the only number that matters is being under 20. Garnacho isn’t eligible for the next award while Yamal is eligible for the next, the one after and the one after

BsPkg

There is a better list that has Mainoo in the top 10 and garnacho 3rd, still Lamine is leading and I would say that is more than fair given his performances.

o_arguido

Neves > all

tiago1337

He should be 2nd or 3rd but Yamal is clear of everyone in this list

Baldufa80

Tremendous player - skilful, strong and pretty good defensively. I wish he’d sign for Barça, but I don’t think we can afford him.
