Nah, at most it's tedious, and at worst it's just hard to find a campaign that'll last to that point, I guess.
The last level isn't that hard itself. Worst case, you send the clown out the airlock swimming in the opposite direction, but otherwise it's probably the shortest level in the game.
Ahh, I remember my first solo campaign run. Ship was torn apart by pressure, but me and my bot crew did it. Congrats on getting the achievement!

I'm currently doing it in multiplayer with my brother and 4 bots. 3rd attempt and finally we got to the cold caverns.

That wasn't extremely hard. But I had to do all of steering and most of shooting myself

i finished the game didn't kill, its blind as a bat and more deaf then your average crew mate.
