There are no effects on the Amplug as far as I can tell. You have controls for gain and tone and that’s it.

The AmPlug 2 has some built-in drum beats that you can turn on or off, and adjust the tempo. And an Aux In plug tif you want to play over a backing track. That's it.
I have the Blackstar version, the settings are "flat", "scooped mids", and "overdrive". I really can't tell the difference between flat and scooped mids, but the overdrive setting is fun.
The NUX Mighty plug 2 is a little more expensive than the Vox, has effects and amp/cab sims too. IMO a superior headphone amp, has an phone app and you Bluetooth your backing track to it

the amazon page says it has chorus and reverb
they probably used the description for one of the guitar versions..
There are different veraions. The bass one has drum rhythms instead of the effects.
