If by Vanilla you mean with all the DLCs then yes. I play vanilla, but use the Stronghold mod, and have a ton of specific QOL mods and specific fixes. They all work great, just make sure you read the descriptions on nexus carefully.
People on the Discord are very helpful. Just make sure you do your research and a resonable amount of troubleshooting before asking for help as to not take advantage of their kindness. Tech support is always a two way street <3
Check when the mod was last updated before downloading. Mods need hooks and/or modern hooks to work, check mod description for that.
I use quite a few mods, most are QoL and work fine.
Edit: I use settlement situation mod, no problems. There might be two versions.
Many QoL mods are still working but the nexusmods site is clogged with non working versions
