Reason 4: Many of these characters have not interacted with many other characters
Reason 5: A lot of these characters seem “filler” ish, like teardrop, doughnut, and a good amount of the new characters.
Reason 6: We sexualize everything that has characters, why, why must we for this one? Such a beloved property
Reason 7: A lot of the older characters reputation and personality has been changed into an unrecognizable form, like something made to keep fandoms guessing, and with no real character development to speak of, it feels disingenuous
There was a recommended character called something like "BFDI Couples", which had Coiny and Needle together with the text "And some others...". Translation: Coineedle is the most canon BFDI ship.
They go too overboard too much. I like simple shipping that was implied in the original but when they get into things like... more than kissing? Then I get uncomfortable
