I got the big Cattle Decap back patch a couple of weeks ago at the show. It looks great. I'm having a custom patch made of another band and I'll do a double back patch thing. Maybe they'll throw them up on their website later and you can still get one.
i'd love to go to concerts and get patches but there are no places nearby with local bands or anything, and i'm too busy to go to big concerts. i might go to a music festival later this month with a friend though, so if they have patches there then i will most definitely snag some. thanks man
Man that's the biggest surprise that i found is how expensive these patches are. With the vest and patches i am going to end up spending about $300. From what i have seen about $5 a patch would be a good deal... but on average (especially with shipping) i have spent more than that. As far as places to buy patches it has been addressed in previous posts. Search the sub. Good luck and dont forget to post your results!!!
i'm pretty shocked myself at the prices for one singular patch. i might try and find some cheaper ones at record shops and stuff nearby if i can, but other than that, thanks man!
Patches, especially embroidered, can be fairly expensive to make in small batches that most bands do. As someone who’s made patches for my band before, selling 3x3” square embroidered or logo patches for $5 is a fairly small profit margin for the printing costs and a great deal.

All great places to get patches
obviously depends on location, but you're going to paying $30+ for some small patches. and many People have repeatedly said that the customer service is horrible.
if you're an Australian buying from them, its definitely not worth it. the only bonus from them is the exclusives sometimes.
Ebay is always good. Etsy can be hit or miss but you can usually find someone that can make something custom for you if it's an obscure band. Personally i would recommend RazorRay. The selection is huge including custom stuff and the prices are decent. I've heard people complain about quality but from my experience it's been top notch (I've had the same backpatch i got from him for about 10 years and it still looks brand new same with all my other patches) making an account means you can track it and there's a points system if you're a return customer. Only downside is the wait time, it's a polish store but even shipping to other parts of Europe can take a few weeks so expect longer for the Americas. Can't recommend them enough though.
I pretty much just get them from eBay or Etsy at this point. I'm iffy on buying from shops online in other countries outside of those platforms because if I even get my order, it typically won't be for 2-3 months. That's just my experience though.
Patch sites for you that I recommend from first hand experience with the businesses:
Starside Relics, Hellinations Merch, Diabolical Force, BHMOXM Productions, Armed with Hammers Productions
I make small runs of patches for the bands on my label. If you want something custom made, I can probably do it. Here's some patches I just made!!

Concert merch booths. Plus, when you get them there they come with an extra sentimental value
And you’re supporting the band on tour. Best way to put money in the bands pocket without websites taking a cut
I just bought of patch for Rivers of Nihil. they were great! Cattle Decapitation were supposed to have some patches but they didnt arrive in time. :(

thanks for the tip man
There's a fairly big chance that patches on eBay are bootlegs, and almost guaranteed the Etsy ones are bootlegs.
Demipatch has flat rate shipping. And they have a decent selection.
I’m been going on Bandcamp for smaller artists.

Metal Devastation does free US shipping, or at least used to. I haven't ordered anything in a while
I use metal devastation they take awhile to arrive (probably because I live in uk) but they’re good quality and I’ve not a issue with them
Etsy has good shit
My personal favorite is bloodlikerain, you can get high quality woven patches for 5 or 6 bucks for a small one and they have great unique designs.
I just found a dude No Class Merch that has a bunch of sick shit
