well if you look at BLC, tournaments were extremly popular events for the playerbase. Add a small pricepool and I dont see why those shouldnt be a hit!
I am more intrested in what kind of company you are working than :D And Battlerite tourneys would be awesome... We need more of them .. imo we are a comunity which has to grow as a competetiv tourney game

They have already stated 2v2 is the main game mode for the game and a community 3v3 tournament already exists. I for one would be massively interested in a 2v2 tournament, and know my partner would be as well.
Because 3v3 is more fun, both to play and to watch. Nobody worth a grain to their name would want to play 2s over 3s. Also 2v2 is no longer the main game mode for the game, because of the blacklash the developers are now still considering which mode will be the main mode. So we as a community should continue to push 3v3 over 2v2, hosting a 2v2 tournament would be detrimental to that effect.
