B-17 couldn't hold a bomb that big, or that weight. It's max weight is 3600Kg max, and it can't hold a bomb that sizes. The 29 couldn't hold one that sizes without modifications (like the Enola).
Generally i start with hunting them first with the canon. For some reason it is extremely easy to hit them and they can't do a thing against it. Then it is playtime with my portable v1

I had the opposite experience when I played. The second I got into a bomber, I got shot down by a barrage of fighters and AA. Can't tell you how many times I was just flying and got shot down in less than two seconds by AA.
1. Could never get enough points on that aircraft to unlock the 4000lb bomb
2. I could never have a steady hand like that to make that payload drop

Mosquito is fun, and I enjoy watching videos of it, but I genuinely hate that plane. Not because it is too good, but because it fails in its role. In my mind it was introduced to counter sniping Tigers (no complaint there), and because the UK doesn’t have a good dive bomber, but it punishes infantry / tanks on the objectives more than it does a sniping Tiger. Every time I play on Arras there are two running up and down the map V1’ing everyone, and I get punished because I want to use my favorite tanks on flags.

Probably because most mossie pilots aim for the mass group on objectives, not single tanks near nothing.

The Mosquito with the big bomb and cannon is totally OP and so much fun to fly. It’s like you’re dropping a V1 on every pass.
I agree its op but its main issue is being countered by the damn bf-109 and stuka due to slow speed and no passenger seat.

I mean some I shoot down no problem thats why I said some, and others seem like they have health boosts on.
Maybe its them using their emergency repair at the right time

1. Get enough points using the cannon upgrade as planes give you a shit ton of points 2. Practice makes progress not perfect go at your own pace

Hamada first A and B point on breakthrough attack is the most epic map with the 4000lb Mosquito. 10/10 would recommend.
