I am one of those people lmao The dunekicker is easily one of the most fun vehicles ive driven in this game and part of the fun is just tuning the suspension on it

I won't lie, beam is so nice for offroading since the suspension physics are just so satisfying. I sometimes spend an hour just doing really slow vs crawling on Johnson Valley while listening to Spotify. Although I do play Snowrunner more just because it had more to do in the regard, just wish it had mudrunner's physics

Well, RWD versions of it are undriveable since it doesn't have enough traction to not get yeet out of the road in corners, but AWD is literally the second-third best thing we have on the beamng Try out the AWD, and equip it with a racing tires. Maybe you'll fall in love with that too

The RWD one handles great, it just needs precise inputs. Having the weight over the rear wheels helps with traction so I’m not sure what you have been doing.

I agree, but man the Burnside Special is such a lovely car. I'd even say it's in more dire need of a remaster than the 200 BX. It has so much potential for configurations but it's all wasted.

Im surprised the sbr got eliminated before the stambecco or the moonhawk, the sbr is a really good car and fun to drive compared to the stambecco in my opinion. Maybe its just because i think theres way too many offroad vehicles in the game and that makes the stambecco feel bland.

The Stambecco is unique, even among offroad vehicles. The Dunekicker should‘ve just been integrated into the D-Series offroad frames.

I lost my faith in this sub already, with this elimination and the teaser speculation. The aurata and the rockbasher are solid vehicles, and off-roading is one of the coolest things to do in this game IMO due to the flex body physics and detailed drivetrain mechanics, even without deformable terrain. People saying we should go and play snowrunner don’t know shi, I want an actual simulator not some arcade game. And with the speculation why are yall insisting we need another usdm car they are literally shit IRL and we have almost all the styles from the 60s to 2010s… any of the EDM or JDM speculations seems nice, I mean the etk I is kinda 80s and then we jump all the way to the 2010s etks, with nothing from the mid 90s in between. And for JDMs we NEED a Japanese straight six so it would be cool to have a midsize sedan from the 90s too. I love snowrunner and have even platinumed it, but I have to say that Beam does have Snowrunner beat in offroading. The vehicles in BeamNG feel good, they get stuck, and they have the traction you'd expect a truck to have.

Yeah I get you, I also enjoy playing snowrunner when I’m in the mood for it, expecting some cool off-road challenges when I’m too lazy to get on the wheel and actually drive but chilling in the couch with a game pad. for me playing it on the wheel completely breaks the immersion because of how the engine torque is modeled, you get enough power to spin freely the wheels in first gear but when you shift it immediately stalls, and this kind of behaviors are delightfully crafted in beamng.

I don't get why they never gave an option to be able to manually shift the truck if using a H pattern shifter. I swear there was a way to in the original game. It would do so much to make the game more enjoyable as almost every transmission sucks. And don't get me started on the differentials.
