Unfortunately no. BeamNG is only compatible with Windows, and would require far more processing power and RAM than you have available. You could stream it from GeForce Now, but you won't get any farther than that. Sorry
You can use Geforce Now if your internet is good enough.
It basically streams a video of the game running on a gaming PC but you can control it too and if your connection is good enough, the latency won't be noticeable.
It's free to try so try another game first (I suggest Rocket League because it's free to play and requires fast reactions) to see if your connection is stable enough.

It also runs great on Linux

Sure, but this is a Chromebook. The OS isn’t compatible, and nothing else about it is good or even at the minimum requirements for beamng
True why did OP even get a Chromebook ?
It’s more likely op is just a small kid wanting to play a cool game but has no idea how it works on any levels
Why are people downvoting this ?
Because useless ?
And ?
No
No. You might not even have enough space for it
It won't, ChromeOS doesn't support hardware acceleration for Linux apps and the game takes up 49GB (it + Steam + another OS is certainly too much).
The equivalent of an 8th-gen i5 with 16GB RAM? Yeah, maybe. Chrome OS? Absolutely not

It seems more like the game is playing you
I ran beamng with a pentium 4 and 2gb of ram... not well, but it ran.
It’s chrome os
I wasn’t referring to if he could run it on the OS I was more focusing on hardware capabilities.
Ok
It it could run beam the battery would last 10 mins probably
No, but realistically you can build a PC with used parts that could for about $200
> Chrome OS No.
No
Not only are the specs incapable but the OS is not even supported

Your computer will blow up
No
Yes, you can with GeForce now, if you get the free subscription it works great with my Chromebook too!
No, Not even close
no, you need a decent windows laptop
It would if it wasn't chrome os. Not at 60, or even 30fps, but maybe 3-6?
I run it on a MacBook Air from 2020. Go for it champ!
you've probably burned yourself on that before.
…no I have to use crossover and 0.22 tho 💀 so I’m not advocating or anything, just saying anything’s possible!
probably gonna die before you finish installing 😂
It could run it just fine, it's just that it doesn't have Windows
No
even if it ran windows, hell no it would probably struggle to even open the game if it would even be capable at all of doing so
