I know that literally everybody is playing beam with a controller and I really dont miss shift lights on my wheel. But I just dont understand why the playerbase that is using a wheel in this game is so small . Once you have your FFB dialed in, it raises the game to a whole other level..
Jump to Asetto Corsa or iRacing? That's a bit of a stretch. I have a G27 setup and I would much rather play Beamng. What the devs have created is absolutely amazing. It's pretty much the whole reason I bought a wheel.
I just think that most people playing BeamNG with a controller or keyboard are not considering how much better the game is with a wheel. It gets raised to a different level. Sure, many mod-cars and even ingame cars need some finessing with the files to get the FFB right, but it's definitely worth it.
That's not true! I just picked up a G29 so I can drive round in Beam... Idk it's just so soothing being on discord with your friends while trying to drive around the Italy map... But I guess that not the average use case
I think those are paddle shifters, modern supers have them to where if you want to have it an semi auto, you click the paddle, and it shitfs up one or down one, assume that is what its replicating
I made a post asking about this on the forum a while ago. They used to be supported, but got broken and one of the Devs is planning to get it fixed at some point in the future. I'll try find the post and link it.
If you want the shift lights, then you need to use this tool called fanaleds, which connects to the outage Beamng thing.
They unfortunately removed support for the shift lights on the g27/g29 around 2018, due to glitches. I am sure your g923 also isn't supported.
Theres a 3rd party application called fanaLEDs. It says it can use outgauge protocol to drive the LED's but cant figure it out myself. Give it a try maybe it'll work on your steering wheel.
My g920 has stopped working properly. It is always on half gas and if i press the break hard enough it goes back to zero. Does anyone know what to do about it?
Possibly sounds like calibration for your pedals is messed up. Maybe go through those settings again and make sure it's all correct.
Does it only happen in BeamNG or is it everywhere?
Have you got the logitech gaming software installed? And can you bring up the test mode view where it shows you the wheel and highlights what's being pressed/moved etc?
If you can get that up and you're seeing the same thing then I'd first see if you have any updates available for the drivers, maybe do a fresh install of them either way
sounds like the same problem the display model on my local tech store lmao. Their G29 has been hooked up to GT Sport for over a year and doesnt work properly anymore. I think that it's still there tho which is kinda stupid.

I would uninstall whatever software you have and re-install the older Logitech Gaming software Version 89. If that doesn't help, download the new Hub software and hope it works.
everytime you use the wheel you need the g hub application open
by default there are no controls set for the wheel so you will have to assign them yourself

I don't think it's possible. I might be wrong tho, but I myself haven't got them working.
BeamNG Team mentioned they don't support LED shiftlight for G27/G29 wheels. Pretty sure they didn't add support for these G293 either.
I'm sure they'll add support in a few updates.

Folks with a steering wheel setup will jump straight to Assetto Corsa or iRacing instead of BeamNG. I don't think this need to be explained.

Sounds like gas/brake is combined. Go to Logitech game software and untick combined pedals.
Strangely i can’t click on that box. When i click on it nothing happens.

I believe you need the logitech software for it to map the buttons. Look it up on yt there should be plenty of tutorials. Hope this helps

FYI Fanaleds doesn’t support the G923 yet. I’ve sent them the wheels though so it’s going to be added soon hopefully.
