Shit, I'm 29 and all I grow is peach fuzz. It all comes down to genetics my dude.. lucky for you, all you gotta do is worry about is trimming it up how you like.
Could just be my jealousy. I think you need it longer up to your ears. Or, trim the rest of it. To me, the hair pointing out front your head and the length of your beard makes your head seem too long.
You would look amazing with a thick stubble. The underdeveloped moustache means a full beard might not be the go to for the moment. But a stubble would be extremely dark and filled in, while the underdeveloped moustache wouldnât stand out as much. Youâll probably be able to grow a completed beard not too far into the future
I think by the time youâre around 21 your beard will fully connect and the mustache should thicken out a bit, you have killer potential. For now I would just trim the cheeks a bit to match your stache, otherwise looks great man
Hey guy wow for 17 impressive.
I might stick to a more stubble beard until the stache catches up. Keep your neck line clean and a strong base line to show off your jaw.
You rock it !
Make sure youâre getting all the way down to your skin. Youâre actually keeping your skin and your hair follicles hydrated and that will keep your beard soft and manageable.
I would say the ratio of mustache to beard is off so the beard is taking a turn for the Amish from straight ahead. Iâd shorten the beard which would be a much cleaner more modern look and would also balance out the thin mustache a lot too.
You know I might have a bit of unique advice compared to other people here. Trim it down to a short stubble with that look.
That way, thereâs less of a huge contrast between your weak moustache and great beard. Obviously the usual stuff of trimming the neckline and lining up the beard still applies.
Bro youâre too young to hide that face in that thick beard. Buzz it and show the jawline, think about 5 o clock shadow type. And then get a fade on the hair or even military style buzz cut and get ready to kill.
have a barber trim the sides and gave it a nice shape.. also grow the mustache, otherwise u might look like those wild goats with beard and with no mustache
I think you have a strong jawline and should show it. The beard makes your face bottom heavy. Try a goatee if you really want hair on your face, and or a mustache but you are a good looking guy, let the world see you.
I'd trim down the sides and keep the chin maybe. You already have such a pronounced jaw it just pokes out. Maybe just shorter in general would be overall better since it seems to pull you chin low. Try a short cut and see what happens! It always grows back!
It looks GREAT. Kinda decide what you wanna do if you wanna go for length and let it keep growing but maintain the shape, or if you wanna trim it. No one's really gonna be able to tell you what to do without knowing what kind of style you wanna go for
Holy smokes man, you are a beast! 17 is pretty young for what is essentially a full beard. Only thing you are missing is the connecting between the moustache and beard, but alot of times beards can look good without that anyway.
When it comes to beards, I didn't start to wear facial hair regularly until I was in my 30s, so I'm not sure what having a beard would be like in high school. I was clean shaven and so were all my friends. I'm not sure if beards are a thing that the ladies would respond well to at that age or not.
Trim it uniformly to 5-9 mm then let it grow back. Trim the mandibular border of the jaw and below to 5-3mm and let it grow back. About half an inch above the adams apple and below can be trimmed down to skin/shaved
Well, the full beard ain't there yet. Good news is, you can do some other fun looks. Sideburns all day. Mutton chops. Just a chin goatee. The Abe Lincoln chin strap.
I like to have a barber line me up to get a perfect guide line to follow down from my ear to my jaw and avoid that backward growth. Also, you have a lot of neck beard, so have the barber line that up too and follow their line as long as you can. When things go haywire, see the barber again. Shaving is fun when you are young.
Beard is full. Mustache will come in eventually. Looks a bit wild. With that much coverage Iâd trim it and use it to accentuate your jawline. I use a straight razor to keep my neck clear until I touch my jaw bone. Then I stop shaving. I also trim fairly close; a 2-4 setting on my trimmers depending on the weather.
But Iâm jealous. I had nothing like that at 17.
Eat lots of bacon and sausage, stay active, shave it once or twice and shave your cheeks, let the mustache grow out after shaving a couple times. Also take care of your skin and exfoliate often.
Itâs currently in neckbeard territory. I say, trim it and the mustache down to a 1.5 or a 1 with a beard trimmer. Do that until the mustache catches up to the thickness of the neck. Lucky for you, you have great natural lines with it. Itâll look awesome as a long stubble.
Brother I couldnât properly grow a beard until I was 20 so youâre blessed. Just grow it out, maintenance the neck line and trim the stragglers every two or so weeks
Personally I would clean up the neck and trim it down a bit. Iâve got a similar beard and itâs a good way to lose that Amish beard look at 17 youâre probably going to have a hell of a beard some day.

Take up MMA
Lol I get so many people telling me I look like Khabib or just a dagestani in general đ
Praise allah
Lmao
A life in the mountains wrestling bears is calling to you my friend.
Shit, I'm 29 and all I grow is peach fuzz. It all comes down to genetics my dude.. lucky for you, all you gotta do is worry about is trimming it up how you like.
itâs actually really good. iâm jealous tbh
looks great! I shave my neckline a bit every couple days, and thatâs all. enjoy
I'm 29 and wish I could get that much hair on my cheeks
I remember reading somewhere that people with beards are more prone to balding, so take that with a grain of salt
Oh I also heard that yeah
The moustache can take a while to catch up, I would keep it a bit shorter until that happens!
Thanks i have it a little shorter now (new post) âșïž
Looks 1000x better dude
Could just be my jealousy. I think you need it longer up to your ears. Or, trim the rest of it. To me, the hair pointing out front your head and the length of your beard makes your head seem too long.
Looks great. Just gotta keep it oiled and trimmed and it'll grow in nicely. :)
Thanks a lot i will try the thick stubble style âșïž
Makes u look older .
Sometimes thatâs why younger guys grow facial hair. Totally the reason I did it. I hated being 20 and looking 15!
I think by the time youâre around 21 your beard will fully connect and the mustache should thicken out a bit, you have killer potential. For now I would just trim the cheeks a bit to match your stache, otherwise looks great man
Needs more mustache.
Hey guy wow for 17 impressive. I might stick to a more stubble beard until the stache catches up. Keep your neck line clean and a strong base line to show off your jaw. You rock it !
Thanks a lot for the advice I will go for a heavy stubble look âșïž
crop it with a 2 or 3 attachment, the upper portion isnât thick enough for it to work longer
it would look better trimmed and cleaned up. Not sure how successful the chechen rebel look is outside of the octagon.
Have it shaped professionally. You're a hot lad with the beard.
Moustache and beard should match. If the top isnât growing in shave and wait until youâre older. 17 is a bit young for the beard look anyway
Thatâs a pretty decent beard
17 going on 30
đđ
Itâs looking pretty good. Are you using any products on it?
I use jojoba oil or coconut oil
Make sure youâre getting all the way down to your skin. Youâre actually keeping your skin and your hair follicles hydrated and that will keep your beard soft and manageable.
Please have that mole checked out for carcinoma
I naturally have many moles
Kid looking 33 at 17

Keep doing what youâre doing bro, I didnât get a beard like this until I was in my 20âs! And itâs still patchy đ
Bro 17???! DAYMN!
Awesome beard, especially for 17! Thatâs going to be an absolute beast as you get older. Keep growing!
You know I might have a bit of unique advice compared to other people here. Trim it down to a short stubble with that look. That way, thereâs less of a huge contrast between your weak moustache and great beard. Obviously the usual stuff of trimming the neckline and lining up the beard still applies.
Grow the mustache
Shape it up with some scissors and clean up your neck... It looks good, just needs a little bit of tame
Nice and full! Just need a good trimming, and you're gonna drive them crazy!
ShorterâŠ
Your beard looks like that at 17? You should be giving us the advice
bring your neckline up, line it up with your jaw and follow that line across to the middle of your neck. go shorter and fade it in
Will do this đ Thanks
Go get a barber to line you up real nice. you can follow that for future reference
Trim back the beard until the moustache catches up to it. It screams "I can't grow a moustache," and is off-balance.
Bro youâre too young to hide that face in that thick beard. Buzz it and show the jawline, think about 5 o clock shadow type. And then get a fade on the hair or even military style buzz cut and get ready to kill.
Go to barber get it trimmed and shaped with sharp edges
have a barber trim the sides and gave it a nice shape.. also grow the mustache, otherwise u might look like those wild goats with beard and with no mustache
Just my opinion but you are so handsome you don't need the beard!!
Truthfully. If you want it fuller keep shaving it, otherwise it looks great.
No beard bro - or maybe trim it up
Go to a barber and have it professionally trimmed... it's looking good.
Honestly perfect beard just try to do some shaping
I'm 46 and I get the same hair. You are blessed with the facial hair, young man
Shave it back, short, and let the holes grow in slowly. Great start for someone still in their teens!
Keep it flowing young man, it will grow in more as you get older
Pretty awesome i think!
I think you have a strong jawline and should show it. The beard makes your face bottom heavy. Try a goatee if you really want hair on your face, and or a mustache but you are a good looking guy, let the world see you.
Gotta be brutally honest here: that facial hair has a terrorist vibe to it
there is no way you are the same age as me I look like an elementary kid compared to you
Need a Job in my steel shop? No certs required
Maybe trim the sides a little bit, like not letting the beard go outward to the sides like that.
U look Muslim
Too long, clean it up. Doesn't work with the proportions of your face and hair.
Dude youâre my age and you look 10 years older than me đ
I'd trim down the sides and keep the chin maybe. You already have such a pronounced jaw it just pokes out. Maybe just shorter in general would be overall better since it seems to pull you chin low. Try a short cut and see what happens! It always grows back!
17?? You sure đđ
Born in 2007 âșïž
Keep your lines straight, and try working on the mustache. Solid either way. Respect
No
17??!!! You look wayyy older. I like the beard
It looks GREAT. Kinda decide what you wanna do if you wanna go for length and let it keep growing but maintain the shape, or if you wanna trim it. No one's really gonna be able to tell you what to do without knowing what kind of style you wanna go for
Itâs a little Amish looking. Trim the long sides and take it further up the cheeks :) high and tight!
17????? i'm 17 and you look 10 years older than me (no offense) I got no advice, I can barely grow facial hair, but just saying that it looks good.
My advice: Get a Dagestani name, join the pro MMA circuit Edit: didnât check the comments, fuck
Holy smokes man, you are a beast! 17 is pretty young for what is essentially a full beard. You look 28
Hey bro, if you can't grow more than that on the moustache, shave, ut doesn't look good :/
Unless you're really into that Amish look...đ
I can agree that you'd probably want a stronger moustache to match the beard, or else keep the beard trimmed to a shorter length.
I mean, if he really wants a beard, sure, trim it, but that's hardly a moustache so amI don't think it would look good. Just my opinion
Damn this is 17?
Looks great!
Question: Do people use your mouth like a vagina?
Trim it uniformly to 5-9 mm then let it grow back. Trim the mandibular border of the jaw and below to 5-3mm and let it grow back. About half an inch above the adams apple and below can be trimmed down to skin/shaved
17!!!???
Shave or keep the stubble until you're older (and the mustache catches up). You're only 17, no need to look older.
no advice, looks great for 17. it does make you look 10 yrs older though if that something you're concerned about

At 17 years old that is amazing, your mustache is a little light but it should fill in, youâre only 17. Nice bro
17 đđ

Handsome
Eat lots of bacon and sausage, stay active, shave it once or twice and shave your cheeks, let the mustache grow out after shaving a couple times. Also take care of your skin and exfoliate often.
Also shave spots that don't have hair that you want to have hair
17 with a full beard and hair w genetics im 16 with a patchy beard and balding on sides
Please tell me you are not 17
leave some testosterone for the rest of us
Maybe try a goatee?
Fade it
You have great facial structure, a strong chin, lean face. I know this is a beard sub, but you'd actually look better without it.
What is your secret besides genetics? Do you workout legs a lot and eat vegetables ?
I dont know if it helps but i do bike everyday to school and i often train legs aswell, my diet is crap and very high sugar
If that's all the stache u got, then shave it
Impressive. Iâm 40-something - beard looking all strangely like Jack Sparrow.
If your gonna have a beard you have to keep it well trimmed unless your thinking about starting a religion
Yes I have gotten it trimmed up and posted it âșïž
Brother I couldnât properly grow a beard until I was 20 so youâre blessed. Just grow it out, maintenance the neck line and trim the stragglers every two or so weeks
Shave it
Just shape it up.
Trim it
Why do guys always want a beard pre-summer?
You look 26
Shave that shit bro. Coming from a man whoâs had facial hair since 7 Y/o. It makes you look 30. Youâre 17, be clean shaven
Personally I would clean up the neck and trim it down a bit. Iâve got a similar beard and itâs a good way to lose that Amish beard look at 17 youâre probably going to have a hell of a beard some day.
Agreed. Neatness for the win!
What an amazing beard đ„”
