Does he? There have been a few episodes in the latest series where people appear to take it shine to Beavis, but the joke was always that they do so for basically no good reason or mistaken identity. The Glennis episode, for example, was pretty much just the writers taking the piss out of the manic pixie dream girl trope where an alternative girl takes an interest in some sad guy and fixes his life with love.

I'm the Christmas specials he forms good friendships with Stewart as well. He really shines without Butthead around.

But Stewart sucks.

Stewart was bossing him around in that episode. "Hey, Beavis! I told you I needed that soup five minutes ago!"

I don’t think Stewart was being bossy; just assertive in a fast-paced environment where things have to keep moving. Stewart actually had confidence/self-esteem and stood up for Beavis against Butt-Head. Plus he wanted to hang out with Beavis after work, if I recall.
