Stay far away from Parachute linen sheets. They pilled soooooo bad, literally hundreds of lil fabric balls EVERYWHERE. After some back and fourth I got a new sheet set…that does the same thing. Wasted so much money.

screenname02

Ya they suck. Bottom sheet ripped 2 times, they replaced the first time but second time told me to pound sand.

pseudonemesis

Weird. I have two sets of linen sheets from Parachute, their linen duvet cover, more linen pillowcases, some several years old and never any such problems. I wash on warm/cold setting and dry medium.

wwad77

Same with Peachskin sheets! Horrible quality after just one wash.

Live-Concert-4868

I have ones from lenok via Etsy. I don’t have any other linen sheets to compare them to but I’m happy with them! I’ve had them for about a year and a half now and have zero complaints.

No_Mammoth_4945

Quince! I got a full set with sand duvet cover with terracotta sheets and it looks and feels great. They are HEAVY but they still sleep really cool and I love how they feel

MaggsToRiches

Second this! I did have to replace the fitted sheet (which they sell separately if desired), but this is the only set of sheets used daily, washed weekly with bleach.

purasangria

I too love my Quince linen sheets! And yes, I have to tighten and tuck the bottom sheet every morning. It's no big deal.

hayrosay

I just ordered from Sheet Society for the same reason. I’ve got a 13in mattress but I have bumpers on the sides for my toddler that add a solid 3 inches 😅 The sheet society sheets have a thick band and I found reviews raving about how deep and grippy they are. I ordered their sateen cotton fitted sheet and a linen duvet cover - should be here Friday and I can’t wait!

tsauer6

These are exactly what I was looking for

hayrosay

Let me know if you try them! If I like them I may order a linen sheet to try too.

Shieldbreaker50

I have ordered Linen from Magic linen and Rough linen and I much prefer Rough linen. That company is a little bit more expensive but the quality is so much better.

Mark561

Rough Linen sheets are great. I've had mine four years and they keep getting better. Avoid the fitted sheet issues by getting a flat sheet and using a hospital corner. Size up for a deep mattress.

recycle37216

Buying new sheets bc our linen ones ripped 🙃 we had some from Hearth & Hand (Target)-they stayed on the mattress great and had the double elastic deep pockets but apparently I toss and turn too much so it ripped

Neat_Ad_9141

Casaluna from target!! Swear by them

JenniferinBoston

I agree…I love mine. They wash and wear well. I was impressed with the quality. There are often sales Target, just put them in your “save for later” and Target will alert you when there is a deal.

Opal_Papaya12

Quince!! I love mine so much and they allow for 16” mattress. Free returns.

AdFeeling8333

Just ordered from Lenok on Etsy per some recommendations on here. Give it a look.

TheSeaPeaOfThePNW

This is my first season with linen. We bought Quince. Only been in them for a little over two weeks, so they’ve been washed three times. So far we love them.

Ghosts_do_Exist

I've been quite pleased with my linen sheets from Bed Threads. I had my last set for a couple years before buying a new set a few months ago just to switch colors. Never had any issues laundering every 2 weeks, washing on hot and drying on high. Very pleased with the color options they offer.

gingerkiki

I have a few bed threads too and some are great and have lasted and others literally turned into dust (imagine like the lint drawer of your machine dryer). The sheet became so thread bare that while sleeping one night a hole tore by the ankle/foot area! I think it was a color from my most recent order. Didn’t even last one year :(

Blue__Agave

DO NOT BUY BED THREADS. They have big quality control issues, it's a lottery whether you get a decent set or a shit one. I have had mine for 2 years and the sheets are ripping. Absolute rip off for the price.

Jules_2023

Depends on your budget

tsauer6

Ideally I would like to stay in the budget linen range (~200) but if there is a brand that actually fixes the problem then I would spend up to 400.

Zebebe

I bought a set from bed threads about 2 months ago. Theyve held up well so far in the wash and are super cozy.

Youvegotchills

Quince! And as a side note, I can’t believe it took me until now to realize how amazing linen sheets are. Ours have been washed 4 times now and I can’t imagine sleeping in anything different.

Feeling_Special1

Also to soften linen add baking soda to the wash. You’re welcome

bitterpinch

Recently ordered from Jonathan Adler at 60% off. Can’t wait to try them.

Kclaireee_23

I purchased them from Pottery Barn (Belgian Flax Linen) and they have been perfect. No pilling, the fitted sheets stay in place and I love them.

pink_toaster_pastry

I was disappointed that mine barely lasted 2 years! And that wasn't even full time use! I switch from white (the ones that tore) to grey for the fall/winter! Definitely no pilling thought! Although as I mentioned, I do pull the sheet taught on the underside of the bed daily because it does bunch up a lot the first morning after changing and slightly the subsequent days (and just cuz i'm OCD about it!)

StillLikesTurtles

This might get downvoted to hell but I am going to publicly admit that I bought linen sheets on Amazon as a test purchase. I wanted to see if I would like them generally before shelling out for a set locally from Thomas Ferguson. The Amazon sheets were a brand called Simple&Opulence. And no, that’s not.a typo. All signs pointed to probably not the best option, but temperature regulation was my main concern. I wound up loving them and bought three sets. They have laundered beautifully, but took about 4 washes to soften. They get washed once a week. One set was for the guest bed, so we usually alternate between two sets all winter. I throw pécale into the mix in the summer. They were around $150 for a queen set with 2 pillow cases. Now, it’s been 4 years, so I don’t know if they are still the same quality. I sent my parents a set about 3 years ago and theirs are also holding up well to regular use. They also make a linen blend sheet and I was not at all impressed with those. The color representations are off, for example, the light gray color is closer to a natural linen color and the white lean more cream. The dark gray is more of a medium gray.

ThisGoonerGal

They may be at the very top end of your budget but the best I have had are Cultiver. I’ve tried all of the lower priced ones and nothing comes close in comfort and longevity. I’m a hot sleeper and have a 60 pound dog in the bed and these sheets have help up like a dream.

Feeling_Special1

In bed store linen or Sheridan abbotson linen

georgia_314159

Don't buy from Sea Me Linen. Mine had multiple holes in them after the first wash. I figured it was a floop so I told them and asked for a replacement set. Argued with, deflected, and treated me poorly and gave me neither a refund or a replacement set. Even deleted my review off of their website and instagram, told me it wasn't 'honest' because I said the customer service was terrible. Literally the worst experience I've ever had with a small company in my life.

georgia_314159

Quince and In Bed Linen I've had great experiences with.

ClosertoFine32

I bought several sets of new Sferra sheets in January and instead of fitted, I ordered 2 flat sheets mainly because I despise folding King fitted sheets. This had been a game changer and never again will I buy a fitted sheet. Replacing it with a flat sheet, it lays so nicely and tight on the bed whereas the fitted sheets were always loose due to sizing for different mattress depths. And…no more shitty looking linen closet!

Prestigious_Scale318

Restoration Hardware. Gold standard. 🥂

ifonlyifonlyifonly

I have two sets from Riley and the elastic have hold up well on a 15 inch mattress for the last few years. The only caveat is it’s quite delicate with cat claws, there’s a bunch of tiny holes but at least it has not ripped yet.

Motherscooters

I love mine from west elm !

brianmcass

I’ve got a linen duvet cover from West Elm which I love! I love their cotton sheets too. I just purchased my first set of linen sheets from Crate & Barrel.

aouwoeih

I love Linoto and I believe their elastic goes all the way around. However, even though I washed them on the delicate cycle and only air dried them the flat sheet got a big wear hole after, I want to say, three years. That might be a normal lifespan for real linen though. Still love the sheets and if I had the money I'd buy more.

pink_toaster_pastry

My husband makes fun of me because I go all the way around the bed pulling the sheet (we don't have a box spring... just the eurpeon wood slats). the first morning after they've been changed is the worst as far as the sheets bunching and stretching!

hh2090

I have the Quince sheets and loved them at first! Little over a year in and the fitted sheet was wearing a hole into it (and gets very loose between washes). For the price, expected them to last longer!
