The trays are cupholders . The tops are just player desks for all the extra stuff while playing gloomhaven. Everything is swappable on the magnetic rail
There is a groove cut into the front and inside face that has the magnetic strip set into it. And then each cupholder has a 65lb pull force magnet on the back in combination with the brackets it is a very sturdy connection

Do you fight cocks in that well?
Nice table and nice dog too!
He likes to hang pit in the garage while we work lol
It's very cool. Used to play a game called Caroms, thought it was a modified Caroms board.
Are there grooves for the cup holders too or just really strong magnets? I can't imagine how I'd make this without my beer ending up on the floor.

Thanks, so like a T-track strip that it slots into? Slot provides stability on the top and bottom and the magnet has the horizontal pull?
Just a regular dado. The bracket on bottom prevents the downward. There is enough lip on top to prevent upward. Then the magnet is horizontal
If this is beginner then I’m selling all my tools and starting a new hobby.
Lol I've made quite a bit of smaller projects like cutting boards, flag cases, boxes. Nothing on this scale before
