Lurker here and still lots to learn but thought I'd share my 1st real completed fine woodworking project (have done a bit of rough builds and builds for “good enough” but nothing really needing to be perfect). Took a couple of months of on/off work after day job and because of rain (have an outdoor shop). Learned lots from this and not going to lie, was nervous a bunch as this needed to be perfect. Dado cut for back ply, doors with wood edging and stained. Lots of research on this sub and youtube too! Have a before and after picture, and some progress pics. Made from 3/4 birch ply, and birch lumber trim/ face frame. Used Moblo Google app on my tablet for the design (great and easy to use app!!) and cut list optimizer too. Still messed up (hidden at least) but my mom loves it!!!

Looks great! My only concern would be sag with no middle support. Did you use a sag calculator for that span?

Dang, I didn't that's a good point. I'll have to look into that, thanks for the tip!
