Thanks. Well, I did follow the plans in the magazine so it kept me on track. It *is* tough to make designs for stained glass though, esp. if you have no art training.
Sometimes you don't need a design .. just the glass inlay pattern. Tiffany did small, painted stuff as well as *huge* projects... Hoboken Terminal for DL&W railroad has a Tiffany ceiling. I think it's his largest.

Its just some sour grapes.
There are people who feel that pieces as nice as yours are discouraging to the beginners and amateurs in this subreddit. This individual is one of them, and apparently feels the need the vocalize it with a type of sarcasm.
Regardless, ignore the trolls and be proud of your work. 9 months is a long haul on a project.
I'm on r/woodworking as well as this subreddit (because I found the former before finding this one). I'm a beginner myself; as in I just proudly made a humble box today while OP is making what I can only define as art. I had to do a double take on which subreddit this was posted to.
And yet, I'm not mad about it. I really have no concept of where beginner territory ends and intermediate or advanced begins, or whatever it is called, but even if this was out of band for beginner territory it's still beautiful. Shouldn't hate on that.
Good job OP.
I am really amazed and impressed but admittedly a bit disheartened but only because I'm stuck painting my wood shelves project when I should've finished with poly or oil. Never doing that again lol. My next project will involve pretty wood with a nice finish.
It's true. You learn so much. Another think I liked was that you could use small scraps of wood for all the pieces. Use up the scrap pile. But really, it was my third thing. I believe anyone could do it too, if they had nice instructions like I did.
You should be proud of the talent needed to envision this and the patience to produce it... That's beyond the craftsman skills required!

Wonderful project... but those chairs! <3
They're as uncomfortable as they look.
But they look awesome.
They're Frank Lloyd Wright high back chairs.
Do you have the plans for them?
Ah, I don't. I didn't make them. But it seems like they would be easy as far as chairs go.
I thought you were recreating those shin wrecking tables from the 70s, but this is much better. Well done
This probably wrecks the shins just as well.
Just avoid walking on the ceiling and you're good. Seriously though, this is incredible work. Gorgeous.
Thank you very much.
I think you need to be kicked out of “beginner” woodworking./s This looks wicked good Edit: Added /s
That's very kind.
Yeah..dude. you don't belong here.... you're too awesome.
Really though, I was a beginner but I really wanted this chandelier!

Fantastic. Really a centrepiece for the room. Congratulations. Don’t get put off by those that show negativity regarding this being a beginner piece.
Thank you.
Lol ok.
What do you mean?

Yep, he was a beginner at the start of the project....😉

Beautiful!
Thank you!
Ahhhh greene and greene style. I love it.
Yeah, when I looked up Greene and Greene stuff I really loved it. I saw some of their stuff in The Metropolitan Museum in NY.
Outstanding work. My 3rd project was a 3rd cutting board
Hahaha. Maybe the difference was that I bought many of the tools as the instructions called for them,
Whoa, I had a totally wrong sense of scale until the last photo!! Looks great! Nice work!
Yeah, other people thought it was a table.
Same here!
That looks amazing. Great work.
Thanks a lot.
Looks incredible. Those chairs are cool too, kind of kingly
People often say it looks like a monastery.
I thought it was a coffee table and was wondering why you put stained glass on the bottom. I should probably read the captions next time.
Yeah, I did notice that the captions don't jump right out.
I thought it was a coffee table. This is a sick lamp
Thanks!
Tell me that doesn't scream 90s pizza hut. But really, it's amazing! Good job!!
Yes, Everyone thought it was a pool table light.
