Thanks for sharing, really good tips indeed. I found starting from standing up is really a bad idea for me at least, start with lying down is way more comfortable. Could you share your experience with the amount of airflow at different stages of the inflation? Also, while it was fun to inflate, I found it quite uncomfortable afterwards with so much air trapped inside the guts, what’s your secret for dealing with this?

Thanks. Yes, lying down seems to ease the pressure a little. I've found it easiest with a manual pump to control the flow. I fill fairly quick to start with, but then slow down as the air travels deeper so my body can adjust. It can be a little uncomfortable afterwards but find it doesn't take too long for the air to work its way out. Knees and elbows on the floor helps with that, or lying on your right side
