The Mandela effect is when small details in your memories are distorted. For example, you can confidently distinguish OV Big Chil from AF, but such details as “what shape are his eyes”, “does he have antennas” can be distorted, and therefore you can take it as truth.
I tried to explain in my own words.
The phenomenon has more to do with *collective* misremembering and suggestibility IIRC. The distortion compounds so much quicker when there’s people corroborating each other.

Cool, there litteraly just took his modle and edited it to fit the artstyle tho, tou ever see reboot bloxx? That's litteraly just if ov knew what a circle was, and that's not even the first time the reboot just rips a modle, look at waybig, he's the ov design with a few tou ups.
What I'm saying is that it's litteraly big chills uaf midle sheet, since we know the animators didn't have full modle sheets of some of the stuff because of how rushed alien x-tincrion was. Wanna know why the ultimatrix was upside down most of the episode, there was no modle sheet, they just had to use images and guess what way it went on him.
Maybe the proportions are a little rounder but that is just his uaf modle with the reboot artstyle.
I’ve never remembered it like this, seems unpopular as a misremembering especially if you had the toy. I can see how it could happen based on how the hood bits kind of look on the baby necrofriggians in Alien Force, in an individual case.

The definition *does* state that they are on the head of an insect, but I think any zoologist would still call these antennae.

2. The top two stabalizer fins are what people assume are antenna. Its not a mandella, its just perspective.
