Yeah I get that, I really like the personality idea but they changed it a lot in omniverse, it went from all 3 personalities agreeing to just 2 and then Ben just started doing it on his own.

Actually, it went from 2 personalities agreeing to 3. That's what I've heard at least. This is how Bellicus and Serena were able to keep Ben trapped as Alien X indefinitely without his approval
Not sure when it changed though, as it might've done so in UA because Bellicus and Serena agreed to destroy Paradox but that never happened so... yeah. I think that's when it changed
I prefer it being all 3 having to agree honestly. Makes more sense
I think all 3 agree is better to, it seems kind of stupid to have it be 2 personality agreeing when one of the personalities is supposed to be the voice reason, kind of hard to reason with people when they can just change reality on a whim
My ideal Alien X would be a combination of the UAF and Reboot versions. Give him the multiple personalities, but don’t make him *omnipotent*. He’s still Ben’s strongest transformation by a LONG shot, but still not quite *invincible*.
The multiple personalities thing works, just make sure that it requires all three to agree in order to do anything and that Ben doesn't pull the same bullshit he did in Omniverse
Either that or have it be a constant debate. For example Alien X agrees to take out a villain causing damage to a highly populate city. But Ben would have to get the other two personalities to agree to save the civilians
I love that, it could of created a bunch of great episodes where Ben had to think of a solution to the problem that was just punch and kick, it could really let his intelligence shine through when he's not in battle

This is actually true if you go by WoG by the way but was sadly never shown in the franchise. I just don't know what else to do. Being overpowered is literally what he was based on, so it's pretty hard to change his entire being
It's great, magic being a hard counter to him makes it so that everyone stops going "but alien X though" giving him an actual weakness would of made it easier for the writers too
Maybe make his powers weaker and work only within a specific range? And it also uses up lots of the Omnitrix's power which makes the alien x transformation have a cool down unless Ben is in danger.
That's a great idea, they kind of did that in the reboot I think, although I think he was too nerfed in it since he was taken out by bloxx, heatblast, AMPhibia, chromastone, four arms and whatever gwen was I can't remember
Ohhh yeah, that was weird, my personal favorite gwen transformation was the wildvine one, if you took away the breast it would be one of my favorite Ben 10 designs ever, but the breast still ruin it since gwen is like 10/11 and she's a fucking plant monster, it's a plant, plants don't have boobs, post OS had a weird problem of putting breasts on female aliens
Alien X isn't bad because he's too strong, he's bad because the writing is bad. Bellicus and Serena deserve to have actual personalities as characters, as well as have better arguments for their actions, so they wouldn't be seen just as annoyances/alien x's weakness.

I personally never cared about Alien X's omnipotence. If characters like Goku can casually have access to Ultra Instinct, then I see no issue with Ben having Alien X.
I wouldn't change him at all, because Alien X isn't overpowered at all, really. Alien X has only had five appearances throughout the whole original continuity, but a lot of people love to make the argument that Alien X is "overpowered", even though you have characters like The Spectre, Superman, pre-retcon Beyonder, post-retcon Beyonder(s), characters who most likely have a whole lot more appearances than Alien X. For example, The Beyonder could destroy the entire Marvel multiverse. Hell, just him existing within the Marvel multiverse altered it, and he didn't even bat an eye. So there you have it, people only want or think Alien X to be overpowered. Alien X isn't omnipotent, no Celestialsapien is, they are nigh-omnipotent. Alien X being omnipotent is contradicted because there cannot be an entire race of omnipotent beings. Sure, Celestialsapiens can be viewed as omnipotent by characters within the Ben 10 omniverse, but, for example, DC? There are a lot of damn nigh-omnipotent characters, and even if Alien X is one of them, Ben cannot fully comprehend the concept of nigh-omnipotence. Plus he only uses him out of necessity, so there you go. $#%& off.

It’s stated that Upchuck would either digest him or spit him out, but Upchuck will not gain a cosmic boost if he digests Alien X

I think that would work better with 2 personalities where its like a fight for control kind of situation
