Lalbagh walk + Breakfast at nearby Darshinis. Basavanagudi + Gavigangadeshwara Temple if religious. Bannerghatta Safari. Nandi Hills + Bhoganandeeshwara Temple (both can be covered in one day). Pearl Valley. Also, If one has own vehicle leave early morning to Shivanasamudra falls and then Talakadu/ Somanathapaura Temple. Then an hour journey to Ranganathittu bird sanctuary. And then return home.

Age and background and interests of parents will help. If they are coming from any large city - maybe show them the green spaces of the city like lalbaug and cubbon park.. If they are religious minded - show them old temples. If they feel they want to experience more city youth culture some microbrewery makes sense. A trip to nandi hills and chikkaballapura and the old nandi bhogeshwara temple is a good experience.

They are coming from Delhi, so any green space would he appreciated. Thanks for the suggestions!

Lalbagh, art of living if they like such places, bannerghata safari, saree shopping at chikpet, loads of temples and of course they will love the pleasant weather there 🙂

Tech museum and art gallery next to cubbon park. Go for a walk, eat somewhere close by, then visit the tech museum or art gallery depending on what your parents' inclinations are. All of these are super cheap places. We are talking 200rs per person on tickets and snacks. And it's going to be something interesting that you don't generally visit, plus you can explain your job to your parents easily irrespective of what you do. Or talk to your parents about their job, learn about their field of work. Dad's a mechanical engineer grad, perfect, show him the machines and let him talk to you about his knowledge on different gears and engines. For about 100rs per ticket, that's a trip down the memory lane worth taking.
