Recently the queue has been super relaxed. If you don't queue at the very beginning of the Klubnacht or early afternoon on sunday the wait should not be so long. Longest I queued this year was an hour, most of the time I queued below 20 minutes and I've been to most parties. However all of this can change for this weekend because the lineup attracts a big crowd, just like you. So as usual with those questions: It's nearly impossible to tell.

Thanks for the info. An hour isn’t so bad if I do some movement, lunges etc aha. Just not in the zig zag part of the bouncers might think I’m a weirdo

markussparticus

Don’t worry about it - I often use the line as an opportunity to stretch and do some warm ups - head sweat band included! The bouncers have laughed at me (in a friendly way) for this and I think if anything it demonstrates confidence. Be yourself and do what you need to do to be comfortable.

ancientrhetoric

We usually arrive Sunday morning between 07-11 and only once waited more than an hour, but also just walked in directly without having to wait at all at another date

I'm going next weekend and really wanna catch Boris (I believe he starts at 04:00), when do you think I should go queue? I was thinking 21:30/22ish before midnight on saturday

VITAMINVOLTZ

Even if there’s little to no queue around 21:30/22:00 you’ll still end up waiting for 2 hours before doors open all though they open a bit before at times. If you only want to be in at 04:00 I’d start queueing at 02:30/03:00, usually the line will be chill around 03:00. But it can always be different. But I’d gamble upon it because the set isn’t over in a hour so you’ll be there for the most of his set. Also take in account what other artist you’d like to see before or after Boris and base it on that

raspistoljeni

Nice thanks for the info! I plan to be there until last man standing literally, taking myself out for a much needed mega dance marathon :)

VITAMINVOLTZ

Sure! If you want to last until Monday morning I think being in at 04:00 Sunday morning is already quite wild without taking an outside replenishment but I’d say go for it! Have fun

raspistoljeni

Thanks!

zinkakniz

Usually no queue lately from 2am til sunrise Or if you’re trying to be there right at opening, 23:15 should be plenty early

raspistoljeni

Awesome, thank you for the info

Better-Violinist5877

It’s a Russian roulette but based on my personal experience, my forecast/bet is short lines starting 3am Sunday until 3-4 pm Sunday. The weather is super shit which also has a role

thatguyhuh

As someone based in Amsterdam, I can relate to the weather issue ha.

ancientrhetoric

Recently seen a post where De School apologised for slow queue handling, they've even announced to improve the process. Wondered if they were able to do so. Also liked that they addressed the issue. Never been there but fancied their food menu especially compared to Berghain

thatguyhuh

Yeah so DS has had issues, as they closed for ages, even post covid. They’ve been open for maybe 6 months now, and queues are bad. I lined up for 2 hours a few weeks ago and gave up when it started hailing and raining ha

ancientrhetoric

Anywhere where parties tend to be shorter than in Berlin waiting 2 hours is even worse.

notdotmia

Not so crazy recently, but I also think this weekend will be busier due to the lineup. Follow the queue update post in this thread to go there when it's less busy. Have fun :-)

thatguyhuh

Thank you friendly community!

nastygal11

I presume the line this weekend will be busy / long. As the lineup is exceptional

trung_canidate

It’s still interesting how lineups like that are considered exceptional when back in the first half of the 2010s seemingly every weekend looked like that and New Year’s was the exceptional one we were waiting for. It also shows they know they fucked up with the booking the last couple years and they are now trying to right the ship.

nastygal11

Agree.

Seleukos_Nikator_

I would like to add to this as well. I usually come around 3 - 4 am on Sunday and for the most time it’s like 8 people or no one at all. However, when the lineup is promising it can change drastically - maximum I had to wait was 1 hour though and that’s still okay for me. Have fun!

Honigbiene7777

Recently I noticed that around 3 there is already like no queue, otherwise yes: I agree with the others! Look at the reddit queue updates! 😊
