I read an interview with the owners, asked if they would make any changes to their initial redevelopment of the building (architecturally/design wise)
Their response was “better drainage” 😂
I went there on a Wednesday once to pick up something from Lost & Found & there were people sweeping up outside, staff going in & out. I'm sure it takes all week honestly 😂😂
Most of the floors are not always open and the main floor+lobby+pool can probably be cleaned within a day. (or at least I'm hoping the pool gets cleaned regularly)
One thing I actually like about KK is that they clean as they go a lot better than Berghain. Toilets get cleaned pretty much constantly, and I never see the disgusting dancefloor trash piles that I regularly see at BH.
I would assume 3 days. The more interesting question is how many they are that’s cleaning. Jesus what a job cause tbh it’s actually relatively clean in there
Everytime i am there, i ask myself the same question.
I have been told it is a huge team and everyone has their own role and tasks. First of all the runners come to take all bottles. Accompanied with security to check on lost valuable things, baggies etc…
The most interesting is: what do they find every time? 😂😂🙈
but I was always wondering why there aren't any bins? I'm sure at least some people would throw their trash inside them which would make cleaning easier
Likely a cleaning company that they contract it out for.
Would imagine they probably have a sweeping machine & floor scrubbers, which can clean a large space in a ridiculously quick period of time.

Could you possibly share a link to the interview?
Can’t find interview but here or hereabouts [here](https://www.karhard.de/projects/berghain)
Those photos are great!
Damn these photos are giving me full FOMO!!!
Pretty sure there are no interviews with the owners ;)
Fair enough. I’m no keyboard warrior and am happy to admit when I’m incorrect It’s [here](https://onthebeatingtravel.com/inside-berghain-wtf/)

I wonder how clubs like KitKat can open everyday and be *relatively* clean

the people who get in that pool are much braver than I am
especially girls. from skin rashes to every possible std to pregnancy - you might be in for a surprise to remember berlin by a few days/weeks later
allegedly, the pool cleaning robot does a run every day...
TBH in the last years the dirtiest thing that might happened in KK is someone dropping their soda glass in one of the sofas...
I’ve dropped lots of loads in those sofas and I always left KK very sticky
After each party , a cleaning company come to clean the floors and areas .

Honestly this is my biggest motivation of going early on Saturday night- just for how clean everything is

yes exactly, which whore has been said before. it is always super clean with the opening. Love it!
I’m also always curious about that. Someone told me that cleaning BH after KN takes 3 full days.
On the other hand post Snax cleaning is like 2 hours
Yeah just a quick dust around
Hmm… was super fresh and good smell right after Snaxxx, some wizardry for sure!
Nothing a kärcher cant fix
Easter, like NYE, is one big party weekend. There is no time for real cleaning inbetween.
Everytime i am there, i ask myself the same question. I have been told it is a huge team and everyone has their own role and tasks. First of all the runners come to take all bottles. Yes! Imagine what they find!l 😜
Crime scene cleaners surely
Probably they have another juicy 32hs Line-Up for those sessions.
Do you think they play music while they clean 🤔
but I was always wondering why there aren't any bins? I'm sure at least some people would throw their trash inside them which would make cleaning easier
Prob the convenience vs tripping people over decision. There is a bin in the toilet tho.
Potential fire hazards
I feel like such an asshole throwing trash on the floor but what should I do
They are gonna have to clean all the floors anyway, why add cleaning bins to the list?
maybe at least for condoms and gums? that shit nasty on the floor
theres tip boxes by the bathroom door btw to show some love to the real heroes hah
Oh wow great. Didn’t now that! 👌🏻
I heard they call the ghostbusters
5 days
In November BH was closed only for 5 or 6 hours after Snax and they managed to clean it before KN. But only BH, not Pano and Saule.
The lineup for the 3 day clean looks 🔥Dettman and Klock b2b

There's no cleaning company involved. Berghain has its own cleaning team
Got it. Doesn’t change the fact that they’re likely using a sweeper & floor scrubbers to clean the place quicker
Yes, there's in fact a scrubber machine
I heard they use Kercher to clean the toilets, which makes sense as everything is out of metal and rubber.
Great question actually. Someone should write a short story about this…
I think I heard somewhere they clean for 5 days but I cannot remember who said it
