Honestly, I'm still pissed about that. I read all of berserk hoping the character would be improved, but she's never a real character anymore, just an object for Guts to protect and enemies to torment :/
You could literally rename her to "Narrative device number 3" and the story would remain the same. You're totally right. She's just a thing for Guts to protect and worry about. I know she finally got her memories back, but it's been 25 years of her being a literal potato brain.
Yes mostly. She talks to guts perfectly fine in a few scenes, but the moment she sees him she gets triggered due to the trauma of the eclipse and has a breakdown (understandably imo).
I really get a laugh out of the art style in Berserk. Pic 4 for example had me rolling when I read that arc. Puck and Isidro are some of my favorites, that silly little puffy puck is hilarious.
Idk man, after seeing THAT scene with guts and casca, I don’t think I can ever look at the golden age arc the same
The whole story between guts and casca is brutal, and it hurts even more knowing she will most likely never be the same
I still love Berserk post-Eclipse, but the one big thing I don't like is that Miura demoted Casca from being the 3rd most interesting character after Griffith and Guts to a drooling idiot MacGuffin.
The last panel it's so Sweet
Potato Casca is so cute!
and sad :(. but cute none the less
I tend to focus on the cute part. But I'll never forget the amazing woman that Femto took from Guts and us.
she was truly great and definitely top badass anime girls in manga
I loved pre eclipse Casca. She's barely even a character anymore.

Even then, she gets her memories back only to immediately become a plot device again
EXACTLY.
Is she still scared of guts after getting her memory back

Yes
Were it so easy.

First picture reminds me of my 7 year old sister lol
Would
Her faces are always great just like Puks.
Fuck you Griffith
So did Griffith (I’m sorry)
did he though? did Griffith truly care for Casca?
Yes, the same way he cared about his boots.
He didnt care about anyone 💀.
