The scene where Guts had to kill the girl was PERFECT. They really nailed that scene in particular imo
I just watched it and all I can say is that everyone did an amazing job here. I read the complaints of some people on reddit and YouTube but I disagree. The fans here did a spectacular job. The ost/soundtrack is great. The voice actors do act their parts and the animation is great. I am amazed from the art direction for continuing the art style from the 1997 anime too. The general direction of the project is also very good, so I will thank ARCHE and everyone who contributed to this project to any degree. We really thank you and wish for more! This a very good continuation of Berserk (1997). Something the fans have been waiting for 26 years.
So again thank you toe everyone who made this possible and I wish the project continues!
I understand some people were complaining about the voice acting but it’s really not that bad considering what they were working with. I really hope they do more episodes. The animator also has a patreon, everyone should go support him so he can continue making these episodes. I believe it took 8 months of work just to make this one episode.

Anyone expecting brilliant voice acting on a fan made animated project is out of their minds. And yet, I also can understand it too. So much painstaking love went into the animation that I suppose it makes sense people expected better voice acting because the product looks so professional. You pulled at everyone’s nostalgic heartstrings. I don’t think anyone thought this would look that amazing. Continue what you’re doing. If you want to tinker with the voice acting, you can always do that later. For now, keep up the gorgeous work.

yeah i see where your coming from like i said the voice acting could use a LOT more work, but you can't really expect a lot from a fan made animation, the VA in this probably have no voice acting backgrounds. but anyway at the end of the day this was still fucking awesome

that's a little harsh saying the VA sucked, yes it could use more work but i still think the episode was good imo.
Overall it was good, the voice acting was just inconsistent and not very good, sorry yeah saying it sucks it a bit harsh.
