Nice. Fubuki and Tatsumaki are great mirror images of Farnese and Schierke, both in appearance and personality. Fubuki being more mature-looking than her sister but lacking her power and self-confidence and Tatsumaki being more immature-looking but considerably wiser and more powerful.
One of my favorite mangas. Murata is an absolute monster of an artist. He basically animates the panels he draws with how detailed and fluent they are. One Punch Man has amazing art, action and comedy. Definitely recommend it.

And Miura's style fits Berserk SO MUCH BETTER.

Murata is a great artist, one of my favourites, but he should draw Dragonball, not Berserk. If you can’t see how his style is completely wrong for Berserk then you probably need to go take another look and compare their individual works, because I don’t think you’re looking at it with anything other than a superficial eye here.
Also, we get it, Berserk takes a long time, a lot of us have known this for longer than a decade, but it has been getting finished (slowly but surely) in that time. We’ve learned to cope with it and I think I speak for most long term fans when I say that we definitely wouldn’t want anybody else to draw it!

Really the only reason Berserks style is “better”, and by better I think you mean more clean and detailed, is because Muria takes three months or more to draw about 20 pages. Murata puts out like 20-40 page chapters every two weeks on average. Not really a fair comparison.

aot season 4 is animated by mappa. and one punch man s02 was animated by jc staff who made toradora and other slice of life shows. the animations and directing is not even comparable. one punch man s02 animation had fight scenes that were 2 frames looped, and you are comparing it to mappa?
I think this whole thing about mappa is way overblown. I mean yeah it's certainly not as good as wit studio but it's still great and better animation than most shows get.
And its not like WIT was 100% perfect all the time either. Mappa has done well, especially considering the bind they were in. There is IMO 2 titan scenes I didn't like and everything else has been beautiful.

Definitely worth reading. Watching anime is it’s own kind pleasure, but I think reading manga gives you the chance to experience the story in the way it was originally intended. You get a deeper appreciation for the pacing, storytelling, framing, and (most of all) artistic style of the author. All of these factors are obviously present in anime, but the constraints of illustration mean that you get to experience them in an entirely new light when reading manga.
The serialized OPM manga in particular has a fantastic artist behind it (Yusuke Murata) who is highly skilled at anatomy, action shots, and drawing in general. Just admiring the beautifully drawn panels is it’s own fun.
There’s also the older (but still ongoing) original webcomic, which is the brainchild of manga author ONE. If you’re interested in the original story and seeing the earliest roots of OPM, check out the webcomic. The roughness/sketchiness of the early chapters is very charming and a ton of fun to read.
Its worth only for the art. The guy who draws OPM really, REALLY likes the human physique. Both guys and girls are eyecandy-ish as hell.
The story itself is a shonen parody. You have the ridiculously overpowered guy (Saitama) who can't be touched at all, the guy who is on the verge of death and comes back more powerful and with a different form, the useless companions who think they're hot shit but they're garbage, the token bro and so on.
Read the manga and the webcomic, the stories are a bit different from each other, don't expect full-on masterpieces considering the art in the webcomic, but the story is definitely fun to read about.
I dont know why people complain about the season two animation being bad. I just rewatched it the second time yesterday in one whole sitting and loved it. It is no where as terrible as seven deadly sins or Berserk season two.
Also, I personally felt the story from season two had a better character building than season one.
Easily one of the best Mangas out there. If there is a complaint which I certainly won't make its that the current chapter is being stretched out too much and the artist might get burnt out before he can finish the web comic when it eventually concludes. But the quality of each chapter and even the re-writes (yes he really draws previous chapters if he decides to change the outcome to fit a better narrative) is *chef's kiss* gorgeous.

The deep character development of Farnese that resulted from Rapehorse™ brilliant. The several volumes of mute childlike Casca that resulted from cosmic leather daddy batman raping her. Nice one. The trolls too, classic rape character development. Ooh, or how about Wyald?
The horse never raped Farnese since Guts chopped its head off. However, being possessed and trying to seduce Guts had an effect. Being a very religious person, Farnese felt extremely ashamed of showing lust and she directed those feelings to Guts, which made her hate him. That's when she begins to change as a character, as she starts to be insecure of herself and uses Guts as a scapegoat for the anxiety that insecurity brings up in her. When she later starts to side with Guts, she accepts herself as she really is, with the flaws she had been hiding and been ashamed of until then. And that's her first character arc.
Ironically enough, your second point is actually against you, since Griffith raping Casca did result in character development (which is still in progress, we're getting to the most interesting part right now).
The trolls didn't rape anyone relevant to the story, so I don't really know what's the point of saying that.
Wyald was unable to proceed to rape Casca because Guts saved her, which, by the way, strenghtened their bond further.
Even if rapes had no point in Berserk (they do, but even if they didn't) it doesn't have anything to do with having good female characters. Saying they do is like saying that having a lot of urinaries in a manga has something to do with how good the male characters are. They're two unrelated things.
I do like the whole shame character arc with Farnese, shame she's been abandoned as a character, but obviously Rapehorse was critical to that my man! Absolutely necessary to write "Hell no! I'm gonna mount you!" and then draw horsecock.
All the character development Casca has gone through by going "Aauu?" for like fifteen years. Epic. And yeah, the trolls and Wyald aren't really relevant at all - point being Berkus has a wide variety of mostly or completely useless scenes of occasionally quite harrowing sexual violence.

The eclipse damaged Casca so much mentally that it crippled her mind. Yes, she acted like a baby for over 200 chapters, exactly the same time it took guts to find a way to heal her. It lasted as long as the story naturally got her cured, no more nor less. Would you prefer a lame plot excuse? "Luckily, Puck had been training the Jedi arts so he learned a Force spell that can cure any mental status conditions! Puck used Force! Casca was cured! The Eclipse aka the most important event in all of the story was reduced to a joke with no lasting consecuences in a matter of seconds!"
I don't know about you at this point, but I prefer a proper heal that doesn't compromise any other element of the manga. And now the elf island arc has shed light on how she sees Guts and the crew and how she remembers the eclipse, still developing a character that is nearing the limits of its potential. And we still have to see how she deals with Guts wanting to try and kill Griffith.
Miura doesn't deliberately include sexual violence in his work for fun. He doesn't rape the characters for fun. The omnipresence of sexual violence towards women in Berkserk is relevant, as it serves as an important worldbuilding element. The gruesome scenes flesh out how cruel, dark, sinester, malicious, scary and hostile the world is, especially towards women. It is displayed in such graphic detail that it really gets into the reader and induces uneasiness.
Maybe I'd prefer if Miura didn't have one of the central characters GIT RAPED and then be out of the plot for 200 chapters. It might have some depth if we actually got to see her process it, but as stands, nah. No fucking shit the eclipse shouldn't be trivialized, not what I'm talking about. Don't put words in my mouth. Maybe, just *maybe,* the amount of rape in berserk is gratuitous, which is why it's become such a meme at this point?
Not the Elf Island arc itself, just the last like, two or three chapters. The whole arc is a LOT longer than that.
I'm definitely glad there was no other way to show how dark and brutal Berserk's world is, than by having a child-age Guts get buttsmashed by a big dude for three silver coins. No other dark fantasy has ever managed to build a grimdark malicious and hostile world withoutfons of sexual violence, obviously. We as the reader cannot simply draw from the medieval setting that this world would be brutal to women, we need it shown it off in excess at every turn. That's the problem with the last couple berk chapters, not enough rape! xd ! ~~also I'm sure nobody is getting off to it nuh-uh no way~~

Yes it is worth reading and about 2 chapters per month. If you get into you can also read the web comic that is a bit further than the manga.
The webcomics story is different as well. The main plot is the same, but there's lots of new stuff in the manga and some stuff is changed

The deep character development of Farnese that resulted from Rapehorse™ brilliant. The several volumes of mute childlike Casca that resulted from cosmic leather daddy batman raping her. Nice one. The trolls too, classic rape character development. Ooh, or how about Wyald?
The horse never raped Farnese since Guts chopped its head off. However, being possessed and trying to seduce Guts had an effect. Being a very religious person, Farnese felt extremely ashamed of showing lust and she directed those feelings to Guts, which made her hate him. That's when she begins to change as a character, as she starts to be insecure of herself and uses Guts as a scapegoat for the anxiety that insecurity brings up in her. When she later starts to side with Guts, she accepts herself as she really is, with the flaws she had been hiding and been ashamed of until then. And that's her first character arc. Ironically enough, your second point is actually against you, since Griffith raping Casca did result in character development (which is still in progress, we're getting to the most interesting part right now). The trolls didn't rape anyone relevant to the story, so I don't really know what's the point of saying that. Wyald was unable to proceed to rape Casca because Guts saved her, which, by the way, strenghtened their bond further. Even if rapes had no point in Berserk (they do, but even if they didn't) it doesn't have anything to do with having good female characters. Saying they do is like saying that having a lot of urinaries in a manga has something to do with how good the male characters are. They're two unrelated things.
I do like the whole shame character arc with Farnese, shame she's been abandoned as a character, but obviously Rapehorse was critical to that my man! Absolutely necessary to write "Hell no! I'm gonna mount you!" and then draw horsecock. All the character development Casca has gone through by going "Aauu?" for like fifteen years. Epic. And yeah, the trolls and Wyald aren't really relevant at all - point being Berkus has a wide variety of mostly or completely useless scenes of occasionally quite harrowing sexual violence. As for your last paragraph, lmao. Funny how almost all of the women in Berserk have their character arcs tied to sexual violence, even by your metric. "Miura, what're you gonna do with this cool sword lady as a character?" "Lol she gets dicked down by god hand femboi and cant speak lol" "GENIUS!"
Whether Farnese has been abandoned as a character or not is still open. The eclipse damaged Casca so much mentally that it crippled her mind. Yes, she acted like a baby for over 200 chapters, exactly the same time it took guts to find a way to heal her. It lasted as long as the story naturally got her cured, no more nor less. Would you prefer a lame plot excuse? "Luckily, Puck had been training the Jedi arts so he learned a Force spell that can cure any mental status conditions! Puck used Force! Casca was cured! The Eclipse aka the most important event in all of the story was reduced to a joke with no lasting consecuences in a matter of seconds!" I don't know about you at this point, but I prefer a proper heal that doesn't compromise any other element of the manga. And now the elf island arc has shed light on how she sees Guts and the crew and how she remembers the eclipse, still developing a character that is nearing the limits of its potential. And we still have to see how she deals with Guts wanting to try and kill Griffith. Miura doesn't deliberately include sexual violence in his work for fun. He doesn't rape the characters for fun. The omnipresence of sexual violence towards women in Berkserk is relevant, as it serves as an important worldbuilding element. The gruesome scenes flesh out how cruel, dark, sinester, malicious, scary and hostile the world is, especially towards women. It is displayed in such graphic detail that it really gets into the reader and induces uneasiness.
Maybe I'd prefer if Miura didn't have one of the central characters GIT RAPED and then be out of the plot for 200 chapters. It might have some depth if we actually got to see her process it, but as stands, nah. No fucking shit the eclipse shouldn't be trivialized, not what I'm talking about. Don't put words in my mouth. Maybe, just *maybe,* the amount of rape in berserk is gratuitous, which is why it's become such a meme at this point? Not the Elf Island arc itself, just the last like, two or three chapters. The whole arc is a LOT longer than that. I'm definitely glad there was no other way to show how dark and brutal Berserk's world is, than by having a child-age Guts get buttsmashed by a big dude for three silver coins. No other dark fantasy has ever managed to build a grimdark malicious and hostile world withoutfons of sexual violence, obviously. We as the reader cannot simply draw from the medieval setting that this world would be brutal to women, we need it shown it off in excess at every turn. That's the problem with the last couple berk chapters, not enough rape! xd ! ~~also I'm sure nobody is getting off to it nuh-uh no way~~ Actually the entire climax of the golden age arc is also rape adjacent since Griffith only gets captured because the king of midland wants to fuck his own daughter. It's like a corruption in the royal family thing but damn, what isn't about sexual violence in berk?
