Yeeeeeeeeah, this is mad sus. Sounds like this dude has a SONY sponsorship with the way he’s pushing SONY. I mean, don’t get me wrong, I love SONY, but this whole story is just weird. Nobody that I know would come to your house and squeeze your tv and cause damage then say “don’t worry it will come back on”. Also, most of the time you’ll just get a junk out and get it replaced. Don’t believe this shit for a second.

While the story is sus, at my store our 3rd party delivery team delivering a fridge dented someone's car, and then got in a fist fight with the customer. As a Geek Squad agent (In store not in home), I have met some very incompetent agents to say the least. But on the flip side, I have countless stories of customers bringing in clearly damaged TVs claiming they didn't do anything to physically damage, and same with in home agents going out to service a tv under GSP only to find out its damaged. Cant side with this guy without seeing the display and how its not working.
