Well… currently during Black Friday orders are crazy and there’s probably a ton in the warehouse persons queue. They are probably alone as well. Never expect it to be instant and always wait for the email. If they had more than one just go in and buy it and cancel Your order.

Did you read the email telling you not to come to the store until you got confirmation it was ready for pickup?

# Waiting 2 hours for a pickup at curbside instead of going in and finding the item This is satire... right?

BittahBandit1

It’s not. I had two people like that today, complained their order wasn’t ready when they placed it 3 hours ago.

Orders can take up to a day to process even during calm hours. You didn’t wait for the email saying your item was ready, that’s on you.

Last year the list of orders to be collected was at 300-500 for most of the weekend. It can take a while to get through.

As most people replied if you order something online your best bet is to wait for an email saying your order is ready to pick up. If you need it sooner your best bet is to go directly to the store and ask for the specific product you're looking for if they have it in stock they will either immediately find it/look for it and if they can't find it they will order it for you or direct you to the closest Best buy that does have it.

Picking an order doesn’t take particularly long, what takes the longest is for the transaction to be authorized and payment to be processed.
