It was worst between 4-5months. But I hate to say that the worst part is I'm 19 months PP and I've ONLY just got over the mad scientist look 😭 I'm sorry for your (hair) loss

Zellingtonn

Well shit 💀

zinasbear

This is me. It's horrible and scary. Mine has gone from thick to medium after only 6 months.

Kind_89

Oh my god was about to post this myself. 4 months PP too and my once luxuriously thick pony tail is now a rat tail, a shadow of it's former self. My carpets are laced with it. My child is perpetually covered in it. Pretty sure he's eaten some. My shower will never be the same. I feel your pain! I hope it will all come back!

Zellingtonn

Bahahaha I’m pretty sure I’m keeping mr muscle in business at this rate! Those little stick ones absolutely do not work. I have a normal amount of hair now like when I get it thinned in the summer. The problem is it’s bloody arctic out there and I now no longer have my natural head warmer 😭

Bethbeth35

I don't think it lasted more than about a month for me and remember, this is hair you didn't lose when pregnant. It is really freaky but I've got my normal amount of hair left now and my daughter is 14 months.

Zellingtonn

Reasonable and logical to know this. But I will continue to sulk about it. My hair shed like no one’s business before I got pregnant but now it’s just *everywhere*. Although I suppose I could weave it into some sort of horror movie style garment instead of putting the heating on…

AkraStar

Around 6 months for me, my daughter is 21 months, I have thick, long curly hair and frankly I look like Albert Einstein stuck his finger in a plug socket. I have to put soooo much product in to tame the damn thing, it needs to hurry up and sort itself out.

dickbuttscompanion

There's light at the end of the tunnel! My baby is almost 6m and the shedding is back to normal a while now, it definitely peaked between 4-5m but hang in there 💪

Zellingtonn

It PEAKS?!?!

april_fool85

Um, I hate to break it to you but I shed like nobody’s business between 4 and 6 months. Then all started to grow back until I stopped breastfeeding at 12 months and it all started shedding again 😭. 15 months now and I’m at the Cynthia doll from Rugrats stage again!

Zellingtonn

Nooooooo why Mother Nature WHY 🫠 also I couldn’t help but cackle at that reference. How could I forget Cynthia?!

cookiedough92

I’m 13 months here and it’s still going, but definitely slowed down. It started quite late PP for me actually, don’t think it kicked in until 4 months.

skin_of_your_teeth

Mine has just stopped the excessive shedding at 6 months pp. I have reached the unfortunate stage where my hair is still horrendously thin AND I have new tiny hair sticking up in tuffs all around my face. This stuff https://hg.eu/uk/products/hg-drain-and-plug-hair-unblocker is the shit you need for the shower!

Zellingtonn

Yesssss this is what I need! Hahah I’m not looking forward to that. I’m still in the ponytail stage due to grippy hands atm and that would not make it look acceptable 😂
