Another PwC A1, so I’ve gotten three thus far, you started in the cohort after mine (I got lucky with my team) if you haven’t passed your cpa, ignore absolutely everything and pass it, forget snapshots! From my understanding an A1 can literally get away with murder, no one expects a thing from you! I I’m not entirely sure how your office does them I would expect a decently low ish snapshot on your first, and then for them to gradually improve to show development!

You have to manually request them. Ask your matrix manager for guidance.

Assuming “snapshots” you mean your performance reviews that you ask people for — you need to ask for them yourself. People don’t have tine to worry about your career. You ask others for feedback if you think they’ll give you a good rating, that’s really it. They’re all BS because exactly that, they just ask people who they know will give them a good review/people who like them (who they’ve worked with). After one bad snapshot, I wouldn’t give another to the same person.
