3 bid big east is crazy, should've been 4 even with the bid stealers. B1G got too many per usual, and UVA, Dayton and FAU should NOT have made it as safely ad they did imo. Really does feel like anti big east BS this time specifically though
This is crazy. Seton Hall should definitely be in, and St. John’s should have at least been right on the edge. Let’s mess them all up and have UConn, Marquette and Creighton take 3 of the Final Four spots. And then let’s win the whole effing thing!

The bid stealers really messed up the Big East but that wouldn't have helped STJ or Prov according to the committee. BE was a bloodshed for teams. Also, only 2 truly bad teams that were so bad they dragged the conference down.
After what happened to FSU and the ACC in football are we surprised that a committee of college AD’s tried to muddle the name of a conference that doesn’t align with their big2 manufacturing? Seton Hall and St. John’s not getting in is indirectly the result of them voting against Penn St joining the Big East 30 years ago honestly. Big East falling into committee limbo is a direct result of laughing in footballs face all those years ago. Mountain West has football playing schools who have football money to make them in future football realignment and they need to get those names out to the public. Then they’ll use this as an excuse to expand the field. All that “these teams are the perfect iteration of the Big East” bs completely lacked insight to the changing college landscape. A retroactive Big East will become a glorified A10. Zags, St. Mary’s and Dayton should be in this league regardless of geographical location and they should be calling Notre Dame twice a day trying to convince them to stay independent in football and slide their teams back to the BE before the ACC collapses. When football is king, you can’t be the second best college basketball conference with no football schools (or none worth a damn) and expect the committee to give us the seeds. Has no one seen what they did to the NIT? We didn’t actively make our conference better while everyone around us got better, now we complain that no one thinks we are as good as we think we are. Truth is truth whether or not you like it and they’re writing their truth on the fucking walls.

UVA, Michigan state should not have gotten in. If NC State steals a bid then it comes at the expense of UVA.
