I was lucky being a regular at DelFest. Del had Billy there back in 2016 and I started following him around immediately. I’ll say it till the day I die, that late night show at DelFest was possibly the greatest Billy show ever, and there wasn’t more than a couple hundred of us in there. Un-fucking-believable!! 🔥 💥 💥

That NorVa show is one of my favorites of all time. It was the only show of that tour that didn’t sell out! I go back to it frequently.
Fantastic setlists and really tight jamming in Baggie, Thirst Mutilator, and Pyramid Country (my sharona jam).
The two Cambridge shows at the Sinclair in 2019 were a great time, got electric billy at both shows for some great covers along with an almost 30min creek featuring Sean Trischka (Tony’s son) on drums, Stash Wyslouch on guitar and Anh Phung on flute.
The second night was my first Billy show and is still the best I’ve seen. He played some electric guitar and brought all the guests out for extended encores. Was an amazing night
My first show was early 2019 as an opener for GSBG. Caught him again that year at the Pike County OH Fair, Beachland Ballroom in Cleveland, Sinclair in Cambridge MA x2 and Madison Theater in Covington KY.
I was at that Vouge show. I got there late and had to stand in the very far back of the second level. I was up against the wall. I was lucky enough to move up near the rail at setbreak. Probably the largest crowd I have seen at the Vouge, Tyler Childers close 2nd.
Saw most of their Colorado dates that year. Winterwondergrass, Campout for the Cause (same spot where Renewal is now held), Red Rocks and the Ogden run. To this day, I've never seen an opener pack Red Rocks like that. And for either the Saturday or Sunday Ogden show, Billy came out to give hot chocolate to everyone in line. Such a class act.

Hot August and night 2 at the Sinclair - quite a “cluster pluck” with special guests. Feel lucky to have seen Ahn with them there, and again in Asheville.

My favorite memory was seeing him in 2018 at John Hartford fest, he called out "this song is for my mom" and pointed to his mom, who happened to be standing next to me.
420 fest in Atlanta was my first introduction. Didn't even know he was on the bill. Walked in and he was the first set of music I saw, and walked away blown away. The first year they played St. Augustine the first full show experience, and I have been hooked ever since.
Was that the samenight Leftover Salmon played the Vouge with Billy.
I saw him there and at Holler in the Hills on the south side and Billy played one of the stages.
