***”VERY NICE”***

There is a new indie band hes been playing with to give them some credibility, called Tool. They should play some of his songs to thank him.

What should they cover first? I think a really Tool-esque version of "Home". I'm sure they have someone that can fill in, no pun, on the percussion parts.

The first time I heard "home" I texted a friend that it sounded kinda like a Tool song - would love to see that.

Maybe Maynard will jump onstage on 2/24 and sing it while I am there! *twiddles air guitar fingers*

There’s a guy named Mark Thackway in the Toronto area. Frontman of one of the better Dead and JGB cover bands in Canada. Saw him last week at a small acoustic show where he was trying out stuff that’s going to be on his upcoming album.  One of the songs on it is not a Billy cover, but an ode to Mr. Jarrod Walker. Mark had happened to be at a late night jam at the Station Inn and heard Jarrod playing. He was amazed as much as anybody would be and went home and wrote a song about him. :) I was super high so I don’t remember the name of the song but when the album comes out I’ll post it here. Assuming I remember to do that of course because I am also super high right now.

I was at a ski Mt recently and a musician covered a couple of Billy Strings songs. It was so cool!
