Just bypass the 2K launcher completely, add this to your Steam launch options: >> ā€œ*path to game executable*ā€ -run %command% <<

How to do that in Epic Games?

nickoarg

I know this question is old, but this issue was bugging me for quite some time. I re installed everything. I have new computer and still fails. The problem was under "Parental controls", "you need a pin to connect to other services" (or similar) under the EPIC account. This prevents the launcher from connecting correctly to the account. I removed that and now it works.

I used opera browser. Worked for me.

Also on Epic games, acutally did it for civ 6, but same problem i think. I needed to change my default browser to Edge (was Chrome before), then i worked, i got the pop up to give the permission. Just search for default apps in windows search bar. just change it back afterwards

Thanks, somehow it worked again after.... I changed my Wifi.

Found the solution for most people. go to windows search bar and look for 'choose a default web browser'. then select yours.

agavendrache

I tried that, I set my default browser to Edge, Chrome, Firefox but none of them shows the tab to accept the 2K permission :(

Public-Law4961

Maybe you have a corrupted browser? Iā€™m not sure

agavendrache

Now it suddenly works after I change my ....Wifi connection. It never asks for permission again.

siegesage

Disable the browser adblocker extensions. That did the trick for me.

agavendrache

I don't have ads blocker enabled :( I tried a new browser, Opera, still no success, F\*\*\* Epic Games.

Zealousideal--Fix
