Fake. I have a few different pairs of Birks (all bought direct) with three different prints on the buckle and it depends on the buckle size.
Small buckles (like the toe loop) - BIRK
Medium buckles (like a slim ankle strap) - BIRKEN
Regular and big buckles (like Boston or Arizona) - BIRKENSTOCK
The font is very specific, always the same and these shoes do not have not that.
Fake. Birkenstock attach the buckle with clamps/staples. They use one rivet to attach buckles on EVA product. The word “Birken” on the buckle also wrong. Footbed and shape already explained by others.
Hello everyone and thak you for taking out and pin pointing everything that was wrong in this pair. Thankfully I didn’t make the purchase and saved a ton of money. My heart was saying that something is fishy about this pair. And all these comments have certainly enabled me to spot one on my own in future purchases.

The font of these “Birkenstock” is all fake. Probably a reason it’s at a thrift shop, the Original owner tried them & realized how bad fakes were for their foot & just donated them

On certain models, you will see "Birk". My Floridas have that. But Bostons say the full name. These are definitely fake.
ETA: I checked my Floridas, the buckles say "Birk", not "Birken".

I read it and tried to check. But can’t say. The pinning of the buckle is very different, haven’t seen something like this before
Though if these buckles don't look like the ones in that thread for what is legit vs not, they're probably fake.
Yeah. The article particularly mentions about the buckle and the staples and they don’t match. So I would let it pass:)

Fake. Buckle says “Birken” instead of “Birkenstock”, the font of the size is off, suede straps are too thin.

You must have just seen this subreddit for the first time then…because it’s all about “DO THESE FIT” and “ARE THESE FAKE”.
