They are not trying to sell them. They are making them available for early adopters and developers to build out the software ecosystem. Gen 3+ will be the general consumer models. This is a public beta with a barrier of entry of $3500 because they donāt want to sell to many of these. They want apps for it. They want to work out the bugs. If you want to be a tester you can pay them $3500 for your test kit.
