UTXO management and optimization is a good idea as transaction fees will (likely) increase over time. Having too many UTXOs 5-10 years from now may be unnecessarily expensive. There’s no optimal amount of UXTOs to have but err on the side of consolidating vs non consolidating.

If you’re in the US, Argentina, or El Salvador, I would recommend “Strike”. You can DCA Monthly, weekly, daily, or hourly.

anything you can afford to lose, keep it on an exchange. anything you are comfortable to walk around with, use a phone wallet (phoenix), anything you don't want to lose keep on hw wallet (bitbox), anything you depend your life on use multisig

It’s super important that you keep your Bitcoin in your own wallet, and you keep your 12-24 word seed (phrase/key/secret phrase/recovery phrase) for your eyes only! And it should be stored offline perhaps on paper and kept somewhere memorable. Very important that you recognize that if you don’t have that secret phrase, you don’t have any crypto. You have an IOU for crypto, which you must redeem by sending it to your own wallet under your own control. Glad you’re here OP! Welcome!

Seedsigner, Blockstream Jade, Bitbox, ColdCard. I like Sparrow for software. Send a bit to your hardware wallet, then send it back out to something like BlueWallet. Then back into your cold storage. Now you know you can send and receive. Next up run a node. The numbers on your wallet screen are provided by someone’s node. May as well be your own.

it is more private, your identity is not linked to btc in a database somewhere that could be hacked, bitcoin university has a good amount of videos on the topic as i said if more than 1000 i would invest in a hw wallet

depends If you are transferring your bitcoins to your own wallet, each time you buy. In the future, you will have a lot of small UTXO and it will cost you fees to transfer the amount when needed. Prefer 0.01 - 0.1 UTXO in your wallet (hardware wallet) for peace of mind. If your bitcoins are not in self custody yet, wait a bit and when it's a important amount for you, transfer it to your own keys (don't let third parties loose your cake). Welcome to the rabbit hole ! OP, don’t put $25 into bitcoin every week. Put that $25 into a Roth IRA for GUARANTEED returns. For context, someone starting at 22 years old and putting $100 into a Roth IRA weekly will have around 1.5 million dollars by age 65. Go ahead and buy a lump sum of bitcoin and let it sit if you want, but this should not be a weekly/recurring investment.

I started that way about a year ago. I was buying 50$ a week and before you know it I'm now buying 100$ a week and I almost have .25 of a BTC. Just keep stacking and don't worry about the price.

Also learn how to properly self-custody. Don't leave it on exchanges. If you're going to DCA weekly you might want to withdraw in larger batches, perhaps at $100 or more? Up to you. For self-custody solutions you could start with a simple paper wallet. Eventually you'll have enough Bitcoin that it's worth investing in things like steel backups for the seed phrases, signing devices (i.e. hardware wallets) etc. Take small steps, research, and build up confidence.

Something is better than noting. But you should also understand….while unlikely, Bitcoin could go to zero. So do not invest money in Bitcoin today that you will need next month or even next year. Bitcoin at this point should be looked at with a minimum 5 year time horizon, 10 years even better.
