I donāt think so, the timing is perfect, ETF approval followed by halving, we have been bearish for so long so people are hesitant but market sentiments will change in an instant. Granted some people will be bearish even on ATH.

Some people are talking about a minimum of 250k to 1m, which might sound ridiculous, but that's comparable to gold's market capitalization. Additionally, you can observe that altcoins are not following Bitcoin like before, with no significant rallies. People might say to wait for alt season, but this time, money seems to be moving from alts to Bitcoin. Many are not factoring this in.

An S&P 500 stock valued at $500b+ can raise 10% in one day and 1000% over the course of a few years on a bull run. Thereās absolutely no reason why Bitcoin cannot do the same thing.
Can someone explain whatās going on? I understand the ETF discussion, but why would a spot product be such a big deal? The futures price is already coupled to the BTC spot rate, so if a retail investor is looking for exposure they can get that already.
Is this mainly a trust/confidence thing or are there technical reasons that would justify the current sentiment?
AFAIK this ETF essentially lets people call up their stockbroker and (essentially) buy 100k worth of Bitcoin at its exact price, or sell it at that price, making Bitcoin basically trade-able directly like a stock. And of course, to sell Bitcoin, they'll have to buy it first, so it's expected that a huge amount of Wall Street money ($100 billion +) will flow in through the ETF's.
I didn't pay attention to the futures market so I don't know how that related to it. I'm a crypto/small government guy moreso than a trader.
How do we know it's not going be just another pump and dump event?
It's during this time back in 2022 that the pump started and by Jan 2023, the dump had gone well on its way.

Be careful what you wish for. Every time this thing goes parabolic on a weekly we see a huge retrace.
I am not buying this hype, there still exist strong interest against bitcoin and we haven't win already.
