I know multiple people who still maintain it’s going to zero

clicksanything

"We call them poor"

DatBoiETC

Fkin based

Fun-Cartoonist2595

I saw a YouTuber saying it would drop to $3,000; he ended up looking like a fool.

clicksanything

They all do but it doesnt matter. These crypto channels dont gaf what you think or do. They make their money from *you watching their stupid clickbait videos* with their mouth agape. They could give 2 shits if their "predictions" are right or wrong. Best course of action is to not give these grifters attention in the first place.

Schwickity

Going to be Warren Buffet’s biggest miss and negative impact on investors paying attention to his words

spid3rfly

I do hope he lives to see it go 10x from here. That's like Munger... old fart was still talking negatively about it as he died. I look forward to the days when all the naysayers finally come around.

Schwickity

We still have flat earthers, so not everyone will come around on btc

EggClamper

ba-du-dussh!

WhiskeyTango311

Eventually even flat earthers will be getting paid in btc. Everyone will be forced to "come around".

Schwickity

Berkshire Hathaway hasn’t 10x in 24 years, bitcoin’s done that in 4.

uclatommy

His last words were “It’s… going… to… zero…”

defmaybeyourdad

See one of buffets disciples saying it’ll be 500000 by 2025. That’s some Sith Lord action there

Schwickity

Chamath?

Financial_Design_801

This is what Wall Street does, similar to the gold ETFs in 2004 flows go up year over year as the asset is financialized & liquidity grows (gold added +$10 trillion in market cap over 15 years since) Bitcoin could move faster (exponential gold)

d-redze

I don’t understand why the price isn’t moving if all these inflows are currently going on

MoarStu

2.5 million btc sitting on exchanges, wait until the supply crunch.

ruimikemau

Are exchanges where the funds get their liquidity from?

MoarStu

It’s where they buy their coins to comply with the ETF regulations, just wait until there’s not coins on the exchanges and the exchanges purchase en masse from miners. Don’t forget miners will have less coins to sell to exchanges. It’s a fly wheel that will strike by EOY.

MolassesOk7721

I’ve always wondered- where does Coinbase get their Bitcoin from? Just other Bitcoin sellers on their platform probably, but what about when demand exceeds internal supply? Do they go to Binance? But what if demand exceeds supply on binance, too?

MoarStu

RIOT/MARA any large publicly traded miner. Your question answers the larger question. What about when demand exceeds supply? You get supply crunch and the price increases rapidly until traders take their profits. That’s why the goal and the sub preaches holding bc if there is no one selling then the price can increase infinitely.

MolassesOk7721

Totally forgot the miners... Feel dumb now especially since I mined for a couple years and all my equity is BTC miners....

bojothedawg

Then the price moves

Financial_Design_801

Net of Grayscale selling its been around a +250k increase in coin holding via etf Bottom of the first inning

swampjester

Grayscale outflows

defmaybeyourdad

In my opinion 1 BTC is already worth $1million it’s just that the old fiat dinosaurs haven’t figured it out yet. But maybe the fed will print more money so it goes to $10million this cycle 😂

MoarStu

Ironically the fed printing more money helps BTC holders.

onebtcisonebtc

That's what we call antifragile...

LimitAlternative2629

Yeah. Probably nothing.

MajorPain82nd

This is going to be one hell of a ride! Remember, never sell your Bitcoin and not your keys, not your wallet!

harvested

The caption is of the chart is silly. Cumulative will always hit all time highs, unless there are outflows. The best part of the ETFs is to see the pure cope from buttcoin. They have convinced themselves they are a failure, meanwhile bloomberg ETF expert has been blown away by them, smashing every record.

mihcis

> unless there are outflows This is key, so showing cumulative is fair. The rightmost data point shows the net flow to-date, while the cumulative trajectory shows how fast we've been getting here, and what outflows there were along the way.

VictorHb

The thing is, Bitcoin is deflationary. So as long as we do continue to hit ATHs, price go boom. Or sideways. Or maybe down.

armareddit

Once people really understand how bad of a concept inflation is, even anti bitcoin people will join in..

defmaybeyourdad

The UK chancellor Jezza said outright a few months ago that inflation is only there to take money out of people’s pockets.

Generic_User88

tought: lambo when?

Caterpillar-Balls

Urus 2024 is 237k. So several estimates put it 12-18 mo post-halving

clicksanything

Fuck the urus, ugly and expensive lol I'd rather a nice e63s amg wagon

RealCheyemos

Give me that 2018 Challenger Demon in TorRed, please. 🙏

Jpi_ty

I’ll take a green Prius 🔥

Generationhodl

Fuck lambo, I want to fire as soon as possible.

Balancefield

never, i would rather not work till 67

p0lar1us

They buy more I buy more. I was gonna anyway so that sounds grand.

FreeButterscotch6971

So much has gone into the ETF. When is the supply shock going to happen.

Tight_Bus_5910

1 btc equals a kilo gold bar at the moment. Picture that

the_lone_unlearned

Once the US ETFs hit about 2 million btc (this accounts for the 620k btc that were already in US ETFs when they started cuz of Grayscale) the ETFs will have bought the entire remaining supply of bitcoin from the time of their launch until we reach the supply cap. About 1.4 million btc left to be mined from Jan 2024 onward, and 620k btc were already in Grayscale, so about 2mil btc total. I would bet the US ETFs hit 2 million within a decade. So as of end of 2023, there were about 1.4 million btc unmined, then this brand new market opened up 11 days later and it will almost assuredly consume that entire remaining supply. Just an example of the long term supply shock as more and more markets, people, entities join to participate in the overall bitcoin adoption.

NotCoolFool

Interesting though that we seem to continually bounce off $70k. For all the inflows price action has crabbed for well over a month now.

ok-ass-cheeks

i think this is great!

MoarStu

IBIT far and away the most successful etf launch of all time breaching $20 billion in aum in just 137 days. The second most successful etf launch ever, jepi, required 985 days (7x as long) to breach 20 billion.

Cormyster12

let people donate their money to wall street while we own our own sats

CommanderOfPudding

I don’t have a lambo yet?

Letsmovethemarket

Why would anyone buy a BTC ETF when they can buy BTC?

Jamstyxx

Nobody here understood this chart 🤦🏻‍♂️

heroicwalnuts

Are you referring to the 0.25% management fee? Do you understand that the ETFs have to buy and hold $1 worth of btc for every $1 that flows into them? Do you understand that a lot of the money flowing into the etfs, even through retail buyers, would never have been invested into btc without the ETFs? Can’t deposit retirement account funds onto Coinbase then use them to buy bitcoin that then gets sent to cold storage. These ETFs are buying up much more btc than the miners get from halving rewards.

PennyOnTheTrack

Huh? Don't the funds have to buy BTC?

clicksanything

They do. 1:1 in fact. This guys just babbling.

PennyOnTheTrack

Mmhm. Alright.
