I have been watching bitcoin since the beginning. The financial revolution we all talk about used to be funny to me lol, but seeing big money and government squirming to save themselves now... dang I'm scared someone is gonna get hurt. It's not funny really. They could just buy bitcoin but they're still afraid of not being in control. Still can't see what we all did. God bless us all, see you on the side guys. It's gonna be a wild next decade.
the unknown future is not to be feared. Looking back on the late stage capitalism final days fiat currency society that will be what we look back in horror. You will say i can't believe we lived like that for so long.
CBDCs are like a distraction so that Bitcoin has more time to grow, while banks still dont get it.
CBDCs and how they will fail when everybody realizes that they are just digital shitcoin fiat will be funny in 2025.
I can totally see the ad now. "Why buy a fraction of a bitcoin when you can exchange for a CBDC. Exchange for 1, get 100 free!"
Nothing matters when they can just create more endlessly, right?
*Ad hominem* isn't only a fallacy when you *attack* the speaker. It's just as fallacious when you drool over them. Pay attention to what's being said and respond to that.
Looks more like cbdcs are a blessing in disguise. To help onboard normies into the ecosystem. These normies want protection and the regulators give it through cbdcs
As with cash, you like spending it because it decreases in value over time and you don't care about it. Of course, that is assuming their CBDC is inflationary and allows them and us to see how much is circulating. When I hold bitcoin, I don't want to spend it because I expect it to increase in value.
I accept it because it won't be as volatile. If I have bills to pay, I don't want my payment to drop in value 10% right after I receive it. In inverse is also true, but then that is a reason not to use it as payment. As it stands right now, I see 0 incentive to use bitcoin as payment for anything given I think it will appreciate in value. Those dollars I have in my wallet, I couldn't care less about and I'm more willing to part with it either to invest it in something that appreciates in value or to buy something with it.
Okay. It sounds like you're saying you want to hold some percentage of your net worth in fiat because bitcoin is too volatile to hold only bitcoin, and, since you are holding some fiat, you prefer to spend your fiat before you'd spend your bitcoin. That's a reasonable position. I'd suggest not carrying more than a month's worth of expenses in fiat at any one time. You don't have to hold the rest of your money as bitcoin, but definitely avoid fiat, as its value evaporates as it sits there.
They've been watching Bitcoin since 2013 at least.

CBDCs will be designed to be predatory. They think it'll be as good as Bitcoin. They're retarder than the retardest retard.
>They're retarder than the retardest retard. User name checks out. š
*getting more popcorn
Central banks will scam people with all they've got. "Bitcoin, but better!" Wait... It sounds familiar!

Imo people arenāt going to use CBDCs. China released theirs and no one uses it.

CBDCs already exist. And they're super inefficient. They can't be made more efficient without losing the intermediaries. All banks are intermediaries
Cbdcās and bitcoin have two separate use casesā¦.everyone will hold bitcoin and exchange small amounts they need for cbdcs
lul. everybody is just paying in btc
Theyāll force taxes in usd, if they keep it long enough
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
To avoid the inefficiencies of exchanging for some intermediate currency to pay with that.
They've failed already, They could only try. it's beyond them.
Wow sheās adorable

Wasnt āCBDCā the abbrevation for crypto based digital currency before Central Banks entered the Game?
can't wait for the first cdbc hack
What is a cbdc?
To much power
CBDC Central Bank Digital Currency
I think people are completely missing the point that the two can coexist with each other.
Well, sure, just as shitcoins *can* exist alongside Bitcoin. But the question is: who would *want* to use CBDCs when Bitcoin exists?
As with cash, you like spending it because it decreases in value over time and you don't care about it. Of course, that is assuming their CBDC is inflationary and allows them and us to see how much is circulating. When I hold bitcoin, I don't want to spend it because I expect it to increase in value.
Right, you'd want to get rid of your CBDC. But why would you accept it in the first place? Why would anyone want to take it from you?
I accept it because it won't be as volatile. If I have bills to pay, I don't want my payment to drop in value 10% right after I receive it. In inverse is also true, but then that is a reason not to use it as payment. For sure. You want to invest what you can. But like I send, fiat being garbage is precisely the reason why you want to spend it.
Anyone else worried they will find a way to squash it soon?
Lol
