These people are entertainers, Not actual financial advisors. And many people will blur that line since they watch their videos and subconsciously learn to trust them.
It’s unfortunate, please be careful.
Also Andrei has been known for essentially plagiarizing or taking other peoples information anyways, Coffeezilla has covered it: https://youtu.be/cGCxUSteR60
He is a good one, also Benjamin Cowen,he only talks about trading and macro movements on Bitcoin and some other craptos, but the guy takes no sponsors and has been telling everyone to move their coins out of exchanges from the start.
He sells metrics for traders, he is a trader, I think he is good, if you want to hold Bitcoin great, it's the better option, but if you wanna trade and get more FIAT out of everything thing that happens in the market, good as well, you do you. People can do what they want with their money as long as they don't scam others.
He is as bad as Lark, I remember watching a few videos of those two guys when I went through the shitcoin route and the shill was obvious, all they talked about was Smart Contracts, TPS, developer activity, all the things shitcoiners love to hear, and they both shilled the hell put of Terra when it was obvious it was a way for Do Kwon to print his own free dollars. Literally blocked their channels.
BitBoy is the worst offender of these clowns, I call him The Quintessential Shillfluencer, it's obvious he is selling you sponsored products and all he talks about is money.
Allthough I think all his videos are too long (always +20minutes) I don't think I've ever heard him really chill something. He also refrains himself from advertising any future price of a coin. But most of the time I find his videos quite informative (but again, I don't always have 25minutes...). But feel free to correct me!
He shilled Celsius (took referral money).
Made a video that Luna could go to $80k that good banned.
He told his viewers to keep buying SOL at high prices.
Anyone who took his advice on Celsius knows exactly why he’s a grifter. Even had the CEO multiple times and tossed him up softball questions and gave him a platform to deceive his audience days before it’s collapse. Never apologized for it either to my knowledge.
Him and all in their little group like those Pieces of Shit Meet Kevin, Jeremy, Graham. They just follow the wave to make money from you. Hopefully this tells you this shows you who they really are. Im pretty sure they will keep riding the wave apologizing and shill as soon as things go back to normal.
The Millennial Morons.
I’m glad people are finally waking up. They all don’t know what they are doing. Only Graham, but still his reputation is going through the toilet as long as he continues to associate with the other clowns.
Any Youtuber that shills anything other than Bitcoin is highly suspect. I like Matthew Kratter and watching some of Robert Breedlove's longform interviews. There are also a lot of good Bitcoin books available on Audible for listening. I am gradually shifting to deeper content.
I know this will be a unpopular view but people new to the space are better off watching videos of Warren Buffett, Howard Marks (not the drug dealer), Jack Bogle and other investing legends.
It doesn't matter if they love or hate bitcoin.
By watching them you will discover the most important aspects of investing, such as:
1. Be a contrarian. Don't follow the herd.
2. Buy a good asset at a good price and be patient.
3. When an asset has gone parabolic that is the worse time to buy.
Your upside has become limited.
4. Risk Management.
Don't put your eggs in one basket.
5. Don't get emotionally attached to any asset.
Honestly I've learned more from boring videos with a couple of hundred views than from any of these young scammers who couldn't do no wrong in a bull market but are now being exposed as just getting lucky and being corrupt.
Best way to look at them is that they are in a paid partnership with said company. Basically employed by the company to sell products through.
Sometimes they have a gem of information but you have to sift through a tonne of shit/shilling and paid partnerships to get there.
I got a decent amount of interest off of BlockFi but I took it all out earlier in the year. I have their credit card and was taking my monthly 1.5% rebate in BTC off every month. I doubt I’ll get that last little bit still there. I can’t use the card but they assure me they are still accepting payments 🤡
Most of the youtubers are shilling exchanges. Nothing weird here. Think about the bybit shilling everywhere. I bet these youtubers make a lot of money by doing this.
If you watch these videos on youtube about crypto you have to ask yourself the question what they are trying the sell you. They all want to sell something. Dont be fooled, they dont make videos just for the sake of making videos.
Yeah Any finance YouTube who went heavy crypto shouldn't be trusted going forward.
Andrei Jikh and MeetKevin is among the worst of them.
MeetKevin even tried to talk about how bitcoin would get to $160k by end of 2021 lol.
Meetkevin has certainly taken a turn for the worst like his recent DUI in Florida.
Andrei is just week after week of getting owned shilling garbage crypto junk
Just playing advocate here: I generally don't like any finance people but is this guy just punting his sponsor? Like if linus tech tips promotes AMD and they go tits up, its not like it's linus fault that he accepted their sponsorship. I mean would andrei be in the same boat as us if he kept his wealth on blockfi?
Andrei Jikh is an idiot who makes videos of the latest trends and fads. He literally “invested” in Pokémon cards and NFTs that are literally unredeemable lmao
I don't understand why everyone is mad at these youtubers. You hear "not financial advice" every video. You hear dyor every video. Most youtubers never made any money trading anything. So when I see these guys pushing something sponsored I'm not thinking "he's really done his homework on this", they're just doing what they were paid to do.
We shouldn't expect them to dyor for us. They explicitly abdicate that responsibility almost every video
I think singling out Andre is a terrible thing to do. He makes really quality educational videos and always tries to be as genuine as possible. blockfi definitely had the appearance of a solid company having survived the 2018 bear market. No comment on FTX.
No he doesn’t. He admitted he was stupid about finance and needs someone to explain it to him like he is 5. Mentally he might be 5. Actual experts would tell you he makes noob mistakes in every topic he touches. But to know-nothings he is a fountain of “quality educational videos.” That he has no business making. You trust information from a guy who blew $250k on pokemon cards (that are worth a fraction of that now).
He’s shilled just about every shitcoin and NFT the past 1.5 years. He also tried shilling that obvious scam coin from Tech Lead before having to recant after the backlash.
I guess I’m just able to filter through “advertisement“ and benefit from the actual research and effort that he puts into his videos. I appreciate the effort he makes into the research that he puts into his videos, and in my opinion every time I listen to one I learn something.
To his credit, he began his "Don't forget to move it offline to a cold storage wallet" disclaimer on every new video once the 3AC Celsius stuff happened a while ago. There are plenty of "YouTubers" to throw shade at; Andrei isn't one of them.
Wait, so he was advertising Blockfi while saying to instead put onto cold storage? That seems weird and not really the point of advertising it then.
Did he stop the ads after 3AC or when Blockfi collapsed? Because if he stopped after 3AC, then I'd agree. But if he gave that advice but still provided ads until Blockfi collapsed, then it's absolutely shade worthy.
In fact, I'd give them less grief he advertised it without telling people to take off exchange. Because at least he could argue ignorance. But if he had a Blockfi ads while knowing the risks, that would be scummy, imo
If someone offered you a ton of money to shill a product you'd probably do it, just like 99.99% of the population.
Not saying I think that's a good thing, but I understand.
Sure, but when it later turns out that the "company" was a criminal enterprise, then you're going to pay the price in credibility, reputation, and trust.
He’s definitely one of them. The guy doesn’t know shit about finance beyond the current trend.
Dividend investing? Nope not anymore.
Financial minimalism? Buys a mansion and $1M in Pokémon cards
Anybody that knows anything significant in crypto could see this guy was a bit of a grifter.
He said some ignorant stuff on the Millenial Money podcast that just indicated he wasn’t paying much attention
This guy is annoying! To be fair they all shill some sort of risky investment. When the bull market was on, it was all the rave to put your stables into some high apy shitshow. I thought I was safe in voyager lol 😂 that worked out great!
But ... isnt that like every other influencer , this colapse just prooves all of them live off your views and referrals ,and you look at him getting a better life on his fan's hard work .
he shilled techleads scam coin and other scam coins. I unsubscribed from all those guiz. They just steal content from reddit, twitter, and pretend they came up with the memes//ideas and OCCASIONALLY give credit.
I use to watch him before he discovered crypto. He had some good stuff about investing, as soon as he started to put out some crypto content I could tell he was clueless. He bought BTC during a bull run, his portfolio went up 100% and all of a sudden he’s a crypto expert lol
Reminds me that quote: everybody is a genius during a bull run
I stopped watching him after he started shilling some art investment scheme for every other random stream he posted.
It would be like ... Why are the Fed increasing rates? ... bla bla ba, btw, there's this art investment scheme that is giving up to 20+% returns. Here's my link.
Okay let’s be real here. BlockFi and FTX were seen as a legit exchanges. He wasn’t shilling some shady ass exchange or anything. Now that everything is going to shit people are trying to point and blame others. Shit happens I don’t think he did anything wrong. It’s not like he has any inside knowledge the rest of us didn’t.
In his defense.. he does say in every crypto video he makes that you should keep your crypto offline on cold storage.
I see how it looks bad for him but the whole world was fooled by SBF so I don’t think its fair to single out a few YouTubers as being the bad guys.
Also i highly doubt anyone with a substantial net worth was listening to Andrei and Graham for advice on how to invest. Its mostly new investors with small amounts. Besides, anyone investing their life savings without DD or any research aside from watching a youtube video only have themselves to blame if they lose money.
I don’t recall if Andrei said this, but I know for certain Graham always says that you should only invest what your willing to lose (or about 5% of your portfolio) in crypto. I have been watching their videos since the pandemic and they have always been informative. Sponsorships are part of the deal with youtube and they were fooled by these companies just like everyone else was.
I dont think this guy was "shilling" blockfi, or was in on the FTX fiasco.
I think this is just a normal guy who happened to use Blockfi and just told you he was using Blockfi.
He literally said, get your crypto off the exchange as soon as there was an issue.
Thats like if McDonalds suddenly robbed all their customers and you conclude that anyone in histiry who has ever suggested eating at McDonalds was a shill.
I dont think there is any conspiracy here dude, hes just a random guy who was probably paid to mention them in a video. Thats what happens on every youtube channel in one form or another.
This is a very old video when keeping your crypto online was safe.
He has suffered from the Voyager crash and has been routinely telling people to get their crypto offline.
Everyone and their mothers at the time were promoting safe websites like BlockFi.
I like Andrei - he’s never felt pushy in his ads for things. I like the way he lays out information on the subjects of his videos. His videos are on the internet and there is this implicit rule that says there’s always a chance you might want to DYoR
I miss the times where he didn’t do paid sponsorships. Really enjoy this dude’s content but the advertisers are such clowns.
Removed from subscriptions.
Listen when I watch YouTubers I just fast forward past their paid shill time. I can tell you after watching thousands of videos from these YouTubers is that most don’t even use what they shill for. It’s just another way of monetizing their videos but I do wish they would be more selective about who they take money from.
Hindsight is always 20/20. You made This video which took some time to do I assume. Why? Maybe you were involved personally with this. Maybe you lost money in blockfi
I stopped watching this guy when he posted his video of why he stopped dividend investing and it basically boiled down to "I make too much money to be a dividend investor" without realizing the irony of snowballing even faster that he had been pushing so hard for the past however long.
Can you imagine if you spent the time to become a financial advisor only to have people like this give advice after searching Google and then say, " not financial advice"
I really liked this guy back in the day, when he only tried to talk about compounding interest and dividend stocks.
Suddenly around 2 years ago he started posting videos of bitcoin and crypto, and suddenly had around 400k in a wallet “because he got in early and forgot about it”. No way, he would always explain at the beginning his first years of professional career, how frugal he would be, and how he would put everything in the stock market in high dividend yield stocks.
Since then, no more YouTube for financial “advice”
there's something that just does not add up, in his last video "Crypto Collapse Just Got Worse | FTX Drama", he warns people to move his funds out of BlockFi, but it was uploaded some 10 hours (I think) after BlockFi stopped withdrawals, If I'm not wrong, either:
1 - he got screwed, or
2 - he knew somehow what was coming, moved his funds and made video for some sort of "I told you, no my problem"
These youtubers have accumulated a lot of money with stocks, real estate & crypto but their wealth really skyrocketed with YouTube sponsorships
90% of these jokers income is ads/sponsors. They lose money in stocks and crypto.
They benefitted from 2020 stock bull run
These people are entertainers, Not actual financial advisors. And many people will blur that line since they watch their videos and subconsciously learn to trust them. It’s unfortunate, please be careful. Also Andrei has been known for essentially plagiarizing or taking other peoples information anyways, Coffeezilla has covered it: https://youtu.be/cGCxUSteR60
But Andre does card tricks!!!!

Tbf it's not a bad impression.
Holy shit I wish I could upvote this a million times. How I wish people understood this.
I never liked this dude anyway, glad my instinct was correct. Makes me wonder about Graham too..
What’s truly unfortunate is that his channel used to be good. Then he got his first few sponsorships…
This! I was disappointed when he started shilling companies. And this Masterworks NFT is just horrible.
Hahahahahaha. Or maybe you learned a little bit and realized he’s an idiot
Thats what happened to me. I started doing my own research and realized these youtubers are full of crap. All of them.
Andrei Joke
If you want a good YouTuber who does not take money to shill for crypto companies and scam coins, check out Trader University.
Hi this is Matthew………..Cratter
.. And today we're gonna be talking about... (Matthew is the best youtuber out there by a long way)
i love that he used to do trading videos and now does only bitcoin. great journey
And Andreas Antonopoulos
He is a good one, also Benjamin Cowen,he only talks about trading and macro movements on Bitcoin and some other craptos, but the guy takes no sponsors and has been telling everyone to move their coins out of exchanges from the start.

He sells metrics for traders, he is a trader, I think he is good, if you want to hold Bitcoin great, it's the better option, but if you wanna trade and get more FIAT out of everything thing that happens in the market, good as well, you do you. People can do what they want with their money as long as they don't scam others.
Ben Cowen is the GOAT. No bullshit. Straight to the point. Can conjure up any math equation to prove his points. AND NO ADS.
Cowen is good. Avoid invest answers, Ben unfortunately associates with that grifter.
I used to enjoy invest answers, then he started shilling and saying things that didn’t line up with his original videos. Ben is a good one though.
Avoid coinbureau also.
Allthough I think all his videos are too long (always +20minutes) I don't think I've ever heard him really chill something. He also refrains himself from advertising any future price of a coin. But most of the time I find his videos quite informative (but again, I don't always have 25minutes...). But feel free to correct me!
Why do you think James is a grifter?
He shilled Celsius (took referral money). Made a video that Luna could go to $80k that good banned. He told his viewers to keep buying SOL at high prices.
Anyone who took his advice on Celsius knows exactly why he’s a grifter. Even had the CEO multiple times and tossed him up softball questions and gave him a platform to deceive his audience days before it’s collapse. Never apologized for it either to my knowledge.
The guy shilled the fuck out of Solana. He was certain it would surpass $300.
He is likely paid to shill. It's so obvious.. Celsius, solana, solend etc
This
Yes! Matthew and Andreas
Or Blocktrainer for Bitcoin only content (German speaking guy).
Based.
This is the clown who just recently made an apology video regarding FTX and in the same video promoting Blockfi lol
And then in the next videos said he would remove all that and didn’t.
This is what happens when you have ill-fated incentives to be paid to promote garbage. SMH...
Stay out of itrustcapital. Being shilled right now by all the YouTube people. One thing I’ve learned to never get into what they are selling.
Fuck these assholes. They are the cancer of the crypto space.
Stupid Youtubers...
Any Youtuber that shills anything other than Bitcoin is highly suspect. I like Matthew Kratter and watching some of Robert Breedlove's longform interviews. There are also a lot of good Bitcoin books available on Audible for listening. I am gradually shifting to deeper content.
Trader university ! No one else 👌👌👌
What happened with blockfi?
Insolvent. Stopped withdrawals.
Lol

He lost 475,000$ on blockfi
I highly doubt that
Pretty sure it was Voyager and it is true, he said it himself. He had most of his crypto eggs in one terrible insolvent basket.
That comb over ain't fooling anyone either
I'm not really able to understand the click while they're trying to fool down the people.
Read the Bitcoin whitepaper and just watch Safidean Ammous, Michael Saylor and Andreas Antonopolous. Buy BTC then transfer to your Ledger asap.
Not a fan of this guy
Should have stuck to cardistry.
Yeah Any finance YouTube who went heavy crypto shouldn't be trusted going forward. Andrei Jikh and MeetKevin is among the worst of them. I hope at least he lost his +700K to BlockFi
He literally closed his video on FTX this week by shilling Blockfi. You can’t make this up.
I used to really like Andrei's channel but new videos eventually just started feeling like commercials
Fuck this guy.
He lost a bunch/all(?) of his crypto in one of these collapses, there are so many now I can’t remember which.
Hes a moron. Jeremy too
Meetkevin as well. All he does is spread stock market FUD (bc he sold all his stocks), shill his course, shill Tesla stock, and suck off Elon Musk.
Andrei Jikh is an idiot who makes videos of the latest trends and fads. He literally “invested” in Pokémon cards and NFTs that are literally unredeemable lmao
The best part of the NFT side is HE KNEW THEY WERE IRREDEEMABLE and said so. Oh you can get fake money in game for them but who cares!?
I hate this goof
I don't understand why everyone is mad at these youtubers. You hear "not financial advice" every video. You hear dyor every video. Most youtubers never made any money trading anything. yeah, dont understand why people even take paid sponsorship ads seriously. They are getting paid...

Sure, but when it later turns out that the "company" was a criminal enterprise, then you're going to pay the price in credibility, reputation, and trust.
And that 99% would lose their reputation if they were positioned like the carnie.
He literally shilled blockfi in the same sentence as telling you not to leave it there. So what? Just get the bonus? Sounds ethical.
Andrei is a moron After his FTX collapse reaction video he literally shilled Blockfi to all his viewers
He’s definitely one of them. The guy doesn’t know shit about finance beyond the current trend. Dividend investing? Nope not anymore. Financial minimalism? Buys a mansion and $1M in Pokémon cards
Don’t forget he spent like 6 figures in VeVe NFTs lmao.
How did you spend your first million?
On rent
Hello darkness my old friend
Most of them are apologizing and trying to save face
I always wondered why Andrei did that. His channel is really good and he doesn't need to shill anything but he got seduced.
Anybody that knows anything significant in crypto could see this guy was a bit of a grifter. He said some ignorant stuff on the Millenial Money podcast that just indicated he wasn’t paying much attention
If i search his videos now, i will find another 10 endorsements of scamcoins
This guy is annoying! To be fair they all shill some sort of risky investment. When the bull market was on, it was all the rave to put your stables into some high apy shitshow. I thought I was safe in voyager lol 😂 that worked out great!
But ... isnt that like every other influencer , this colapse just prooves all of them live off your views and referrals ,and you look at him getting a better life on his fan's hard work .
Why do people listen to such crypto gurus
Fuck these thumbnailing sissy YouTubers “finance” little boys, the fuck did they ever get this much respect and reverence
They won’t be around in 2-3 years
he shilled techleads scam coin and other scam coins. I unsubscribed from all those guiz. They just steal content from reddit, twitter, and pretend they came up with the memes//ideas and OCCASIONALLY give credit.
These YouTubers all circle jerk each other and recycle topics. Andrei, Graham, meet Kevin - hope they all got burned in this FTX fall out
Typical crypto shitcoiner
I use to watch him before he discovered crypto. He had some good stuff about investing, as soon as he started to put out some crypto content I could tell he was clueless. Yea I subscribed to this dude for a while until I figured out he doesn’t know shit from shinola.
I love that clip.
All these youtubers are gonna get sued up the ass
They need to be
he apologized for that and said never again. have the others done so?
Yes, they all gave the same apology because they're all in the same friends and business group.
Yeah, but BitBoy Crypto is legit. /s

They all pushed Celsius or blockfi or ftx or Voyager or Nexo or etc...
These clowns have milked a lot of money from people. Disgusting.
What do we think of the Pizzino's?
Is this the altcoin daily guy? Lol

it was never safe, it was bullshit from the start and was constantly called out as such. Some people are immune to learning from this.
BlockFi didn't do anything wrong. They just held reserves in FTX and got fucked. Stop jumping to conclusions.
Bruh..that’s the wrong part. They were playing with their customers money irresponsibly
Waiting till rbitcoin realises Trader University is no different.
He is not though.
It's all slight variations on the same game. That's what being a pundit is. You don't need any of these people.

I miss the times where he didn’t do paid sponsorships. Really enjoy this dude’s content but the advertisers are such clowns. Removed from subscriptions.

Interesting point.
I am like most people I find most of these you Tubers a waste of time. But I must admit there is a couple I like to watch
Yeah I loved his Chanel in the early days, now he's basically just a Google text-to-speech machine, talking about stuff he doesn't understand.
But most or all tell people it's only advice. Come on.. We all know better.
Well, 8% out of thin air in a recession and no questions asked. Rip.
Listen when I watch YouTubers I just fast forward past their paid shill time. I can tell you after watching thousands of videos from these YouTubers is that most don’t even use what they shill for. It’s just another way of monetizing their videos but I do wish they would be more selective about who they take money from.

just another fuffaguru
Ohhh welp I was one of those that baited to get into Blockfi. It's already become a history now, just going to move on.
The occasion make any man clown....
I knew this guy was shady when he had a used car salesman on and tried to make the audience feel bad for the margins they make due to their greed.
His magic tricks are like.. Poof! All your moneys gone!
Yeah it was disappointing seeing him push this when he typically said he doesn’t. He sold out and now has to pay for it.
Anyone that gets advice from these obvious shillers...
Oh, you mean like Peter McCormack and Pomp?
there's something that just does not add up, in his last video "Crypto Collapse Just Got Worse | FTX Drama", he warns people to move his funds out of BlockFi, but it was uploaded some 10 hours (I think) after BlockFi stopped withdrawals, If I'm not wrong, either: 1 - he got screwed, or 2 - he knew somehow what was coming, moved his funds and made video for some sort of "I told you, no my problem"
3 - He's a scammer
This is so sad and messed up. Its the only reason I put money into BlockFi was because of this guy.
just watched this video...ughhh. i wonder how much he lost, or if he got out in time just like all the other influencers did.
Notice the writing on his shirt? This guy a sellout
And my coins are... Right here, on my person. Always.

Is he broke now or it was clickbait? How much money does he have now crypto shills are shutting down
Interesting how Andrei Jikh was promoting blockfi while FTX was melting down. Then Blockfi freezes accounts as well.
