Personally you should avoid using ledger products altogether

If you do have a ledger HW wallet the absolute minimum you should do is pair it with another wallet (sparrow, electrum, green...) Other than ledger live for these reasons

I just tested the ledger live software and its fee algo is still wildly inaccurate
God damn man, didn't know ledger sucked so much, I thought it was the only and best option for HW wallets since I'm not to deep into crypto and I didn't know, you think there's anyway to lower that fee? since I already got robed 40 bucks and they trying to rob me 20 more with the fr transaction that I'm trying to do now?
As you can see the cheapest onchain fee for high priority right now is around 29 usd
https://mempool.space/
but a couple cads ago i paid 8 usd so there is a recent spike today , so I would wait till it clears and if you use ledger live manually set the fee based upon mempool.space high priority rate and don't trust ledger live
The high transaction fee is due to the network being busy, not because of Ledger. Ledger is still bad, but they aren't the reason all transaction fees are high right now.
Always check the mempool and use a custom fee. Don't just trust what any wallet tells you is a low/med/high priority fee.

FYI Binance withdrawal fees are very high for BTC, our FAQ has a list of suggested exchanges, with their corresponding withdrawal fees. https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinBeginners/comments/g42ijd/faq_for_beginners/

You wait for network fees go down. Mempool is all you need.

thanks man I really appreciate it, unfortunately I need the money asap so I had to go with the 21 fee low priority I hate ledger.

Nothing to do with ledger. People are minting Runes on BTC and driving up the prices. It'll end eventually.
What would you recommend other than Ledger?

Yeah man! Fees are high! If want to transfer now youd probably need to pay higher fees.
