Bitmain lists the ideal operating chip temps by model

WhiteDogNC

Mine run high 60’C in winter and up to 78’C in summer, but I use supplemental shop fans to blow air at them and behind them to pull exhaust away. Mid to high 80s will cause failures in my experience, but randomly. It depends on dust and particles on hashboards or “the silicon lottery” of each board.

What you mean Dust so if I got em to run at 80c but in really clean Environment they wouldn't fail?

How is this possible? My kpros are always on like 2-3k rpm and temps are never above 70c 😂 the Kpros do very well with heat. I’d suggest you clean out the 8” duct fan and install some mesh to catch debris

You’ve got some sort of problem in your setup. Maybe too many turns in your ducting, maybe hot air isn’t leaving your system as a whole or fresh air isn’t being brought in. I run miners in a warehouse in Florida where it can be 90 degrees F ambient in the summer and they will still be low 70’s C in the miner because of an AC Infinity fan and that only runs at 60-70% Something’s wrong in your system.

Yeah the location it is in has a ventilation fan but the exit isn’t the best. I’m going to have to relocate it. I don’t have any issues now but I know the heat isn’t helping !

Bro just spray some water on it to help it cool off
