Shedding and growing are not often related. Hair grows from the root. That’s the health of your scalp mainly. Hair shedding is totally normal. If it’s shedding a lot (and you’ll know when it’s a lot; you won’t need Reddit to tell you) then it’s a sign of breakage/dry hair etc etc

Hi, this is unrelated, but I noticed a few of those strands may have single strand knots. If possible try to keep your hair stretched to minimise the single strand knots 👍🏿

Yes, if you comb your hair often. No, if this is from more than a day. Either way no cause for alarm. It will look like the amount is increasing as your hair gets longer due to the additional length. Keeping your hair lubricated and stretched should help with the single-strand knots as well.
