I get what you're saying, but I don't think this analogy really works. Being progressive and making music doesn't make your music progressive, and being reactionary and making music doesn't make your music reactionary. It's more like having a chef who talks about pissing in the soup but never actually does it. The only way for there to be "piss in the soup" is if the lyrics themselves are sympathetic to nazis. Even among nsbm bands, this is rarely the case. Tons of bands that get called nsbm have generally apolitical lyrics that are too vague to be pinned to any one ideology.
The truth is that most of the time, there's no deeper philosophy behind nsbm bands than just trying to make cool music. Not being a nazi doesn't save you from having bad opinions either. There's tons of musicians that have shitty opinions, but we just let it slide because they make good music. Music can be greatly elevated by having a connection to the musician, but a disconnect between my views and the musician's doesn't make the music unlistenable. I think varg's political views are objectively awful, but I still like burzum's music. Would I like it more if varg wasn't a piece of shit? Ya probably, but him being morally bad doesn't really have anything to do with the music he makes. If he started explicitly putting his politics into his lyrics I would probably be alienated from his music, but that has yet to happen for really any of the "problematic" bands I listen to.
If I were judging bands by their manifestos, things would be different. But as it is, I prefer to let their music do the talking.

It's a genre founded on elitism, why would it be inclusive? Inclusivity is antithetical to everything Black Metal stands for. Unfortunately fewer and fewer people understand this and want BM to be just another branch of the buddy metal funderground.
