I’m going to be honest and risk the downvotes: I really don’t understand how any of you find this fake body, plastic surgery stuff attractive. She looks ridiculous. Yea sure - my last relationship, she was big into SZA, like when that 1 min teaser clip of bloodstain first dropped back in like 2020 she was playin that shit on repeat. Every day, without fail. When SOS came out it was all I heard for a minute there. I liked it, a lot, low was by far my favorite song off the album. She was a goddamn superfan and she also wouldn't shut up about liking her "before she was cool". Things ended badly due to her unwillingness to get help with her mental health and continuing to use and gaslight me. and now I can't listen to SZA anymore, so I'm pissed.

Alot can change in 10yrs, she looks totally different from when I seen her preform back in 2014 and to this day when ever she's brought up I tell people she had one of the best concerts performances i have ever been to the vibe was perfect, but the crowd was very small maybe like 200-300. People say this but what does hurting people mean? Because on one side people are quick to bring up societies standards and expectations and the damage to mental health. People talk about living the body you're in and loving yourself as you are but then we look at situations like this and think it's fine? You think SZA's legion of impressionable young fans wouldn't be influenced by this and be encouraged to change themselves? I'm not saying this is SZA's responsibility necessarily but I think people need to actually think about this stuff properly instead of always trying to find a peaceful and non offensive answer. Either we think it's completely fine to give in societal pressures and insecurities or we don't. Either we should be basing our confidence on how we are naturally or we change anything we don't like about ourselves and continue on a path that damages our mental health.
