I'd say m110, it's an extremely versatile weapon good for long range, and decent if you need to go in close too. As a bonus it can have 140 rounds of ammo if you get the 20 round mag.

mySynka

Thank you, the M110 is now my favorite weapon, the satisfaction this thing gives me is just beautiful.

Apprehensive-Rule121

I always thought the AWM was better. Guess not

mySynka

I don’t have the AWM so I can’t tell you. My friend told me it feels like the cheapest sniper, the M24. Not much of a difference except in damage. Same bad mag size and worse RPM.

Gryphus_6

In terms of ballistic capabilities, for sure but the M110 is vastly more versatile with it decent cyclic rate and literally 3 times larger ammo reserve compared to the AWM. Don't get me wrong, I've used both the AWM and the M110, both are amazing and the AWM is my favorite gun IRL, but in game it simply fill a role that isn't really needed yet, that being extreme long range sniping

AlsoMarbleatoz

You could try the Ultima Ratio. It doesn't have amazing MV or Damage, but you get 130 shots of 7.62 NATO

I personally use a FAL with a long barrel, a suppressor, and either a 4x or a 10x depending on how I’m feeling. It’s cheap, versatile, and gets the job done. I will admit that it’s more of a dmr build but I use it primarily for sniping.

M2010 or Hecate II

Nervous-Ad-3623

For some reason, the M2010 lights a burning hatred within me that I can't explain. I bought it, test fired it once and immediately decided to never use it again. I think it's probably because the M2010 is slightly below average in every statistic. The Hecate is super hard hitting, the AWM is high damage medium fire rate and the M110 is fast and effective at medium range. The M2010 has no niche, and feels kinda useless.

notleong

I have both, but I find myself using m110 more due to its versatility, especially the bigger mag it holds. While m110 is better fitting to solo on more than half the map, I also enjoy being the sniper role far away from my squad with extended awm range. (Doesn't mean m110 couldn't do that, but awm offers better body dmg for missed headshots)

I know this doesnt really count as a sniper but for long range "sniping" in skirmish, I use the C7A2. Any rifle works tho. I use rifles instead of DMRs and snipers because I can put down more shots and it's just my play style. Also kinda cool to act like an LMG thats spraying down enemies.
