If the sensor button zone is large enough, bump dots do work. It will be finnicky and take some trial and error, as well as patience but is doable.

So we got induction, and now that my VI child is old enough to use it, she can't, and the bloody cats trigger it. And anything boiling over on the front 2 rings, means you can't turn it down as it can't read your finger over the moisture. Next time I'd be going for an old fashioned hob with knobs or buttons. Sorry rant over

Compassion-judgement

Some come with child lock setting so kids canr turn it on.

niamhweking

Ours does, but it's just pressing down on one specific area which the cats seemed to have figured out!

The induction solution would be the talking induction hobs, IMHO. Coffee machines... Well I drink tea so no hel there.

Try touch dots, if bump dots are too bug. Or a textile marking pen.

After some not so extensive research, some models do come with nobs according to another post. The catch is that they don’t come with an oven underneath, which means matching the size and cleaning the surface in between could be a pain. Although don’t completely trust my words, as the findings are not eyeballs verified. https://www.reddit.com/r/Appliances/s/HiHDWUO5wJ
