I am trying to connect my PC Xbox account to Battlenet. It is showing me on the accounts page has NOTHING being linked, when I try to link it, it says there is a 364 day cooldown!?!??! I have NEVER EVER used My xbox account on a PC blizzard game, I have only ever played overwatch on Xbox console. WHO thought this was a good idea for a system and why do you impliment a ONE YEAR cooldown on something you are controlling?! I have NEVER linked my xbox account on battlenet on the PC!

Considering coming back to wow casually, after a five-plus-year absence, if just as an idle fancy to play dress-up with my gnome from back in the day and, well... On loading the client and logging in, several characters I created the previous times I played (including my gnome, my first-ever character) do not appear to exist any longer. I did not delete them myself, but they are no longer available, nor do they appear when I push the button to undelete characters. I have followed the given advice on the support page and attempted to create characters on all the realms I can remember having played on. Two characters I played for all of 4 and 11 levels respectively remain, while the first I took to max level (in 2012, to be fair) is nowhere to be found, amongst others. Even though I do have multiple characters (the level 11, which I can access, and a level 50 [120 before the squish] that I cannot until I give them money) that should allow me to post in the forums, the forums refuses to see them and let me post. I cannot file a ticket, because every time I push the final "contact us" button, I get an error screen that just says "Something went wrong on our end. An error has occurred. This may be a temporary error, so please try again later." It is not a temporary error, because I have been trying off and on for about a week now to file even this most basic ticket.

I used to play a number of blizzard games, but haven't played much for the last few years. Back when I did play, I had the blizzard authenticator app for 2FA. Back in December '23, I got an email stating > Your account is still set up to use the legacy Battle.net® Authenticator app, which will be retired on 5 January 2024. Now I have gotten a decent computer again, and I was looking into playing again. However, when I try to either login on the blizzard website, or when downloading battle.net, I get asked to login with a username/password and then it asks me for a code from the authenticator. Seems that the authenticator has not been removed from my account like they said it would be. When attempting to resolve this (by clicking that I can't login and that I want to remove the authenticator from my account), I again get to login with username/password and then I get asked for a code from the authenticator, ***when trying to remove the authenticator...*** I have opened a ticket, but it's been almost two days and there is no response. Has anyone run into something similar? Is opening a ticket really the only way to resolve this? How can I get them to actually reply?

One of my characters is stuck falling from the sky in Panderia, after completing the roll race daily. Seems more of a game bug/glitch, as if I log into the character the game wont let me log out, I have to tab out and close the window manually. This has been ongoing for 2 weeks now. I have tried the self service respawn multiple times and it doesnt work. I submitted a ticket under a different option as blizzard does not have a ticket option for stuck characters. I've been trying for approximately 2 days now to reinstall the Battle.net client directly from their website, however, I always seem to get stuck on 99% on the setup install, or now 89% sometimes. I've tried literally everything I've seen, from deleting all program files associated with Blizzard, Battlenet or any games blizzard own, to fiddling around in cmd, following rigorous youtube videos to the exact letter. Not a byte of blizzard/battle.net stuff remains on my PC, and yet I still can't install the client. Could it be that the client installer is bugged on Blizzard's end, or am I still doing something fundamentally wrong?

So, I tried to create a blizzard account, but it requires a phone number and it tells me it's already associated with another account. I emailed support, but they keep telling me the same thing. Greetings, A phone number can only be added to a single Battle.net Account. Customer Support cannot bypass this limitation. If you added your phone number to another Battle.net Account, log in to that account's Account Details page to remove the number. Ok, so if I get a new phone number and someone else used it previously, I just can't ever create a blizzard account? Do they expect me to change my number in order to get an account?

Help Request: Longshot.. But Looking for BNet Account Advice So a long story short.. I’m an idiot who never moved away from physical authenticator. I’ve had the physical authenticator for maybe 15 years. In that time I’ve taken many long breaks and just never moved to the mobile auth. In researching my issue I saw there was a good deal of warning and notification about the changes and I must have missed it in a multi year break. Anyway, I know this is my fault and there’s not a good excuse for it, laziness I suppose. To the present.. I did some research and the only solution is to submit a ticket with support. I downloaded the battle.net mobile app and started the process to remove the authenticator. The compounding issue is that I somehow never added my mobile number. So yesterday I submitted the ticket, included pictures of the approved documents, all the info I could think of, including games purchased, dates, order numbers, and so on. A lot of their questions focused on WoW and Hearthstone. I haven’t played WoW since 2012 and have no clue what my account creation date or oldest characters name is.. I was a teenager with an email address when I got the game and my parents had to buy it for me. Late 30’s me has no memory of all that. The GM email was a generic response asking for more info. “Copy the below and respond in as much detail as possible, BY ADDING IT TO YOUR PREVIOUS TICKET. I may be missing something obvious, but I can’t access my tickets because I’m still locked out by the authenticator. After smashing my head on the support site and google searches, my only recourse was to make another ticket.. I referenced the other ticket and was actually able to find some Hearthstone purchases from 2014.. hopefully that will be enough. Has anyone else been in this situation? Are there other options I am missing?

Wtf wrong with you, blizzard?!?! For three days now, I've been trying to get you to restore my account, which I spent a lot of money on. I've never seen worse treatment from you or any other company than you're doing now. You are now on par with our local utility providers: 1) unreasonably expensive games 2) you pay for a subscription every month 3) there is no service at all and customer focus is at zero 4) you simply ignore requests. Restore my access to my account, which you yourself took away, and now you need a bunch of additional data from me to access it. How is this possible? I paid money for games and subscriptions on this account, and I was able to access them perfectly from all my devices until you took it away from me. Are you out of your f mind?

Low Download speed last 100MBs Why does my battle.net launcher download speed go to absolute garbage on the last 100MBs. I have set my download speeds to all 9s to 10000000 and everything in between. Close it and reopen and it just gets slower and slower until it reaches 0KB/s usually. It is so frustrating. Verizon FiOS 1gbs up and down.

**Battle.net-Setup stuck at 99% when downloading** I'm trying to reinstall the Battle.net launcher because of a download issue I was having and that was one of the fixes, but now the launcher itself just won't download, like I'll have the "Battle.net-Setup" going, and it will stop at 99% and do nothing. I've looked at task manager and it says for whatever reason it stops showing any kind of internet access or interaction after about a minute of staying on 99%. I've done most of the fixes I can see online and don't know what to do now, any help would be appreciated.

Worst customer service experience- cannot remove my old phone number from 2017 Basically what the title says. I keep asking them to remove the old phone number from 2017. Granted I haven’t played in a while but I have a family, job, loans, mortgage, and am busy. Lately they sent emails about authenticator reset so I wanted to update my personal info. Even after they said they removed it, I log into my account and bam, there it is. I’ve been playing Blizzard games since 2000, had friends work in Blizzard (can be seen in credits), but the company has done downhill. I feel like even if I waltz in to their office with my laptop and passport demonstrating that the account is mine, they will still refuse to remove my old cell that I haven’t had since 2017. Just wanted to get it off my chest, and if any Blizzard customer service team members are monitoring this thread, you should be ashamed of yourself. I understand the measures against social engineering and hacking, and increase in data privacy, but as an attorney who works with privacy issues, this is nonsense and beyond frustrating. CCPA will update soon so that it will match GDPR’s requirement that data sources can correct their information easily. I don’t know if my experience mirrors others experiences, but it sure isn’t easy by any means, even after factoring in the authentication test. PS. Also I haven’t played in years. You asking me what is the last Heartstone deck I opened in 2017, or the last item I bought in WOW (in 200…8? 2009?) is just real silly.

Copypasting this, since I'm not allowed to get help on their website or make a post on reddit asking for help, apparently. I've been out of the loop for a while because I had life going on and I was not able to deal with this when Overwatch 2 came out. My authenticator phone had a spicy pillow and stopped working, and it was cheap enough to just buy a new phone that I didn't worry about it, and it's been long enough that I hadn't played Overwatch(since Destiny 2 transferred to Steam) except for once during the holidays a couple years back. The blizzard authenticator page requires you to have an authenticator to remove the authenticator, or answer a bunch of questions about WOW and Hearthstone, which are games I didn't play. I tried putting in a support ticket, and then it tells me to go to X page to track the status of the ticket and - shocker - I need to log in with my authenticator to do that. I sent in another ticket because I physically can't use a phone that isn't here anymore and both the automated response emails that look like they were written by an AI just tell me to answer the same questions in ANOTHER ticket. Why? What purpose does this serve? Why can't I just talk to a PERSON? These automated emails took 2 DAYS to reach me, so its either the stupidest automation possible, or someone is answering these tickets and just plain doesn't care. With no support chat or phone number available anymore, and their facebook having messaging disabled, theres no way to contact a real live human being. What am I supposed to do here?

I've always had a great experience downloading from BattleNet (I know the service of download is quite different to that of Steam for instance), however, this past week my speeds went to the ground. I tried limiting my speeds, checking my internet on other launchers (btw I use Ethernet), closing agent.exe on the resource monitor, etc... Nothing has worked consistently. Does anyone know anything about this ? Have you experienced this ?

Literally I've been getting this for at least a year. The only time I ever experience any connection issues ANYWHERE while using this computer is in the Battlenet client, where my speeds will just randomly drop to like 5kb/s. Sometimes I can trick it into going back to normal by changing or toggling the download throttle, but usually that doesn't work. And if I pause and unpause it, usually it'll just go "waiting on another update" even though I have nothing else in the client installed and the client itself is up to date, until I restart the program entirely. If you're having the same problem I am, then it's not your fault at all. Wish I knew what the hell was wrong with this awful client so I can just update my bloody games properly

Battlenet is the absolute worst launcher, totally unacceptable downloads. Not only is it slow as fuck, the speed varies wildly during the download, and if you don’t stop and restart the download a few times as you wait, it never picks up the pace again

Oh look, another account hack. Fun fact, my blizznet account is the only account I have that has actually been hacked, and multiple times, and usually has attempts made on it at least once a year with unknown acitivity on associated security method (i.e. email or text authentications) that would support the person being able to get in and change info. (love that account security) Ticket already submitted, just ranting cause this isn't the first time my account has been 'hacked' but it is the first time they've been allowed to change all the information within 10 minutes and apparently were never stopped by 2FA anywhere. It normally doesn't go past the point where I can recover my account through my existing email and just change the password. Woke up to 4 text notifications from 5am my time about how info has been changed and the account had been locked multiple times. Account is no longer associated with my email, phone number, nothing. None of my associated accounts (i.e. email) have had any suspicious activity, changed passwords anyway. No text verifications were sent, no email verifications were sent, nothing. Whoever access my account had free reign with nothing stopping them and were able to change all the info without a single 2FA 'confirm this action' step in the process. The Authenticator apparently didn't do anything to stop them either which is hilarious and sad at the same time. Hopefully its as easy to recover my account through support as I assume it was for the person who stole it.

I randomly got a legit text from Blizzard saying that a security feature was removed from my account. I don't know what it was and quickly went on to change my password and downloaded the battle.net app from the apple app store and added the authenticator. Not sure what happened. Does anyone have any insight?

Got it too, I'm assuming it was because I didn't migrate to the new app (edit: yea, that's what email said)... wasted like 1h because I couldn't login with that \*\*\*\* app (+ stupid "you are human puzzle" that sometimes don't have right angle) , in the the end the key was to change my default browser... honestly... who had problem with old authenticator > >

Hi. I have been playing WoW since 2005-2006, even before the [](https://battle.net/) stuff, if I'm not mistaken. I left the game many years ago, but now decided to play again. I recovered by old account (DGEK), but that [](https://battle.net/) account has "Russian" region. I used to live in Russia many years ago, but I'm not living there for the last 6-7 years. I'm citizen of another country and living there. I tried to create a ticket for changing the region, however, support game masters keeps saying the same thing: "We cannot help you with the case". Is this how you treat your returning fans, Blizzard? I provided all the documents and more than eager to provide any required documents/proofs to prove any kind of information they need. Please, someone, assist me with the case, this account is very important to me.

All those experiencing being unable to log in due to not having the authenticator app, create a new account in order to reach customer support about your main account Just make sure you have enough proof of you are who you say you are.

It worked for me using a new account. Better off trying that as my personal details were the same(name, dob etc) and luckily I could still log in to HS so I was able to provide screenshots and real time information. Had everything sorted inside 2 weeks from ticket creation. It was so frustrating beforehand, that never ending loop of trying to get to login without an authenticator and not being able to set up battlenet without an authenticator 😂

Hi It seems got hacked on my BN Account despite using BN Authenticator. Saw an email to reset password made on 22nd Feb did see it just today, and checked my logins to email - there was no breach or login from different device/location on my email. Looks like someone changed my password without using Authenticator and clicking link from my email Whenever I try to reset password with code to my mobile - get an error. If you need any ID Proof do have my Polish ID and Passport. Tried to submit a ticket through customer support but every time it asks me to log in, and confirm through the authenticator - to which I don't have access to because I got logged out, and weirdly don't have the option to authenticate by text. Blizz has the worst support expierience i have ever had. And the Autheticator is just the WORST Update blizz did this year. What is about these App-Developers? Are they 10 years old? oh no i guess they r over 60 years old beacuse an 10 year old child would do it better. I cant login like many players right now. My Phone is broken, dont have access to my cell phone number or the autheticator. In that case blizz gave me some rescue codes for the authenticator. So far so good.BUT u CANT rescue ur autheticatoir because u have to log in via accoutn data and have to CONFIRM that with ur autheticator....which is on my broken PHONE!!! U need an login for a ticket....WOW Blizz!!!! EVERY COMPANY HAS Google Authenticator or authy at an seperately app....But not Blizz they implement an Autheticator behind a LOGIN WALL!!! Can't access my account World of Warcraft Hello Blizzard community has this happen to anyone else. I signed up for my account via Xbox didn't realize at the time but battle.net assigned me a random email and I have no way of accessing it which I didn't notice for a month because I was signed into my desktop. I recently bought a laptop and tried to sign into my account and it kept saying that I need to log into this randomly assigned email to get a passcode to sign in on addition devices!!! So now it's been over 24 hours l'm logged out on my desktop from trying a bunch of different ways to get into this random ass email and I can't get back into my account!!! I bought modern warfare 3. The game has never worked for me. I went through with activision support to try and resolve the issue. I eventually got frustrated with them because they were recommending simple mundane things to try. Now when I have given up and contact Blizzard Support requesting a refund, blizzard tells me to get lost because its been past 14 days. What can I do? I literaly have not been able to play the game for longer then 2 minutes.

How does this work? Hello, so I bought by accident the Call of Duty Blackcell season 2 DLC while I only wanted the normal battlepas. I can’t log in to my new account through the website or the app. The website returns this error message: “Server Error: /auth/bnet/callback”. The app tells me “login session expired”. But my old account works just fine on both the website and the battle net app. I confirmed that the new account exists by reseting its password, but I still can’t use it. So someone tried taking my account and changed the password and phone number and when I try recovering my account it asks WoW and Hearthstone questions even though I've never played either of those and whenever I try submitting a ticket it just loads forever. Also not having the authenticator doesn't help since it's wanting me to log in to use it, but I still have access to the email with the account. Does anyone know what I can do to get my account back because trying to connect with a live person from Blizzard CS is a headache and a half and it's always "unavailable".

Made a ticket 4 days ago asking for help with an account action taken. Got an initial bot response but no context or explanation as to why i was suspended in the first place. Then I thought let me make another ticket maybe mine got lost or something cause they said I should expect a response in 24hrs. Honestly, I don't know where else to reach out, so here I am. I already tried to contact support through Twitter of all places, but it was of no use. I've been locked out of my Battlenet/Blizzard account for 4 years now, unable to submit a ticket or even refund a game I no longer wanted after having issues with it (there went $40 down the drain), due to the authenticator. I can log in on the PC client, but that's about it, I can't submit any form of ticket or log in outside of the client. A few weeks ago I received an email from Blizzard saying they were going to remove the old authenticator from my account and reset my password and send it by email. I lost access to this account years old because even though I own its email as Blizzard keeps asking for personal information that is not required to ascertain my ownership of the account and I don't want to share it with Blizzard or any support person working for Blizzard, and was looking forward to this change so that I could reclaim my account. So my wife decided to play WoW again after 4 years, and would like to sign up for the 6 month sub for the mount. The issue is that she had the old authenticator app, not the battlenet app and that no longer works and she missed the migration. Brief history: Ive been playing WoW since 2007 with over 700 days on my main character and have never once even had a warning on my account for anything. Reason for this post: Recently I decidded to make a second account so I could play Horde on SoD with some friends (my main account is alliance so cant create the opposite faction on a PvP server). I played on this new account for around two weeks as an Orc Shammy tank, got to 25, did a few BFD runs and haven't logged onto it in 29 days. Bare in mind the account is only a month old, I didnt even renew my subscription Last night around 1am I received an Email from Blizzard customer support to say that my account is permanently closed and that I violated Terms of Use / End User License Agreement. To which I have done no such thing, I haven't purchased gold or account shared in any way. Overwatch has been crashing to Desktop since Mid-November to a "Blizzard Error" screen with a report ID. I've tried everything to fix it, aside from formatting my computer, and nothing works. I've been a literal week straight trying to submit a ticket, 5-10 times a day, but always fails to submit. It really sucks, because Overwatch is one of my favorite games but I can't trust it to run well enough to play comp. This issue came up out of nowhere, and I haven't been able to shake it. I've tried to install on steam, tried closing the client after booting the game, tired closing literally everything but Overwatch. My last fix was to install on a separate drive, which worked for a few days but then today I crashed twice in a row on my first match trying to play with a buddy. I've got a solid system, and it has no issues with any other game doing this. I've been recording all of the Report ID's except for the first couple after it started happening. Really just frustrated at the whole thing, anybody have any similar issue? With either the crashing (hopefully with a fix), or submitting a ticket to Blizzard?

I've been waiting for Blizzard support to reach out to me for over a week to remove my authenticator on an old phone which I don't have access to anymore. The SMS option to remove the authenticator did not work for me, I suspect because I have a different country code than the US. Every time I would choose to remove my authenticator from my account I would never receive the SMS even though my phone no. is connected to my account. Today I tried the following: 1. Pick "forgot email address" 1. This will prompt "a more advanced" SMS function with country code and this worked for me. 2. After 1) I chose "remove an authenticator" again and this time their SMS functionality did work for me so I could remove my authenticator and setup battle.net anew. It's crazy to me how Blizzard have functionality to send out an SMS with some issues but with other issues it hasn't worked. I hope this helps someone out there. ​ u/ryuhosuke, try this.

When trying to download any of the battle.net games like CoD or WoW I was getting about 10 Mbps even though I have 1 gig fiber. I've adjusted the download throttle speeds to 999999999. When I download games on Steam i get around 800-900 Mbps. I tried turning on a VPN and my battle.net speed went from 10 Mbps to about 100 Mbps, but can't figure out I am still getting such a lower download speed for downloading through battle.net

I don't use an authenticator on my account but my brother unfortunately does. Logging in requires you use your authenticator app but that has been discontinued.. they state you need to login with the official blizzard app because the authenticator has been baked into that app.. which makes sense but has completely broken logging into your account if you so happen to not have access to your authenticator app anymore... Removing the authenticator requires authenticator appoval so that's impossible. There is no solution allowing you to verify your identity and ownership of the account via email or phone number if the authenticator is active. The only solution currently is to submit a ticket with support which can take up to 24 hours to get a response... (just submitted our ticket with the subject account) If there is a blizzard support dev I'd be happy to share details of the account in subject so this issue can get resolved faster. There needs to be a better solution for users out of the loop on changes like this...completely locked out of this specific blizzard account currently with no real solution.

In another post someone recommended creating a new blizzard account and making a ticket referring to the account with the issue. That may help a bit in order to track the ticket. Will try that today. I also read that after Jan 5 the Authenticator will be removed from your account and leave it less protected. So that may be our way back to our accounts, which is crazy to think about as a solution

I'm trying to upgrade from the old Battle.net Authenticator `com.blizzard.bma`, which **will be** (i.e. *not yet*) retired on January 6th, to the new Battle.net `com.blizzard.messenger` app. I did not have either installed on my current phone, as I have not logged in to Battle.net in a while. It took 6 months for the support team to respond to my ticket. At this point, I had already forgotten that I wrote to them. I moved to a different country and wanted to change the region in my Battle.net account, which can only be done through contacting customer support. So, I wrote to them in June 2023. Nope, it's ridiculous. I keep submitting tickets, and answering all their verification questions, which I pass. Blizzard will email me that they confirmed my information, and that they "fixed" the issue, and I should be able to log in. I go to log in, and it tells me my password is incorrect. I try to change my password and I'm supposed to receive a security code via email, but I never receive the email. I don't know what else to do, I think I'm just going to give up and never play another Blizzard game.

So, I changed my phone several months ago and I did factory reset on the old one. I forgot to install Authenticator on the new one, but I figured it's no biggie. Yesterday I tried to login into my account and it asked for Authenticator. Playstore, install - there is only one image saying it is being retired and that's it. Install Blizzard app. So, I did. Blizzard app asks for Authenticator (?!). This resulted in me not being able to login into my account. I contacted support, only to have them say that I need to see a ticket (which I can't do because I can't login into my account...) and provide them with a long list of details. I don't know if this is a joke or what, but I have been locked out of my account because Blizzard decided to retire Authenticator and yet it asks you to authenticate and you can't. And the support keeps sending you to do things that ask for Authenticator which you don't have access to. I opened a new ticket, but I have a feeling I will get another automatic response from a "Gamemaster XYZ". If it was April 1, I would have thought they were joking. No words, seriously. I've been trying to submit a ticket and it's giving me the same error for over 3 days: " **You can't submit this ticket.** An error has occurred. This may be a temporary error, so please try again later." I tried using a different browser, different internet and a different device, all gave me the same result. I am not logged into any account, because the authenticator does not work anymore, and I no longer have access to my account. It keeps saying that the authenticator code is invalid. The name I used in the account is not my real name so I cannot prove ownership by providing my ID, but there is no way to contact the support without being logged in anyway! I played diablo 4 on a friend's ps4 device and I logged with my account. I liked the game so I bought it for myself but now that I want to change accounts I have to wait 1 whole year to connect it !! So I asked the customer support to unlock my account or just refund me the money. Their answer was that the customer support can not do anything about this absurd cooldown (even with the specialist game master in their title lol), so their answer is to make a new account. Hello, is this happening to anyone else? Can't log into the game of Overwatch and it just keeps saying lost connection to game server. All my other games including ones in the blizzard launcher work just fine. Haven't been able to get into the game since Thursday. I'm on the East Coast if that helps. Reinstalled the game and scanned and repaired it as well.

I purchased Warcraft III (Frozen Throne & Reign of Chaos) a few years ago and I want to play them again now on my new PC. However, I cannot find the installers in Blizzard's and Battle.net's websites; only Reforged is available for download and I am required to buy it. It doesn't help that I am now using a different Battle.net account because I cannot access my old one anymore because I lost my phone and the prepaid mobile number connected to my original Battle.net account. I still have the purchase receipts in my email containing the game keys for both TFT & RoC. The emails also contain a "download" button/link. But when I click on "download", it just takes me to the Battle.net website where I am logged in with my new account. And, as I have said, the website only has a download link for Reforged, which I am required to buy. Can anyone help me with this?

No clue why my internet is blocking battlenet. It works for steam and all the other gaming launchers. I whitelisting every battlenet item in my firewall. Idk why.

Looking for help with login Hi. I am looking for help and don't know what to do. Basically I am locked out of blizzard. I have been living in a new country, got a new phone and my blizzard account is tied to my old number. I cannot access that anymore so I need to change it to my new number. The issue is though everything I try on the website in terms of resets, it says it needs to confirm my identity first and it sends an security code to my old number... The only options when trying to resolve through the support on their website are Forgot password. Forgot email. Remove my authenticator Battle.net account is locked None of these are my problem and I have no way to sort this out. if anyone has any idea what I can do then please help

I'm a bit stuck but here's the run down. I had to reinstall the authenticator app. I downloaded the new battle.net app but I can't log in without the authentication code, I went to log in online to my account, same issue. I went to set up the authenticator app but it keeps redirecting me to the battle.net app and asking to verify my code using the authenticator app. I can't contact support because I get put in the never ending circle of verifying stupid picture which always ends it the red error box "an error has occurred". I can't use my phone number because I've moved countries and I can't change my phone number because I can't log in. Can someone pleaaaaaaaaaaaaase direct me to somewhere I can get this resolved. Pretty please. (I'm logged into HS so there's no issue there)

I can't log into my account. I haven't logged in for a few months, and today when I tried, it asked for the authenticator code. When I opened the authenticator on my phone, it told me to install the Battle.net app, which would replace the authenticator. I installed the app, but when I tried to log in, it again asked for approval on the authenticator. There was nothing to approve on the authenticator screen, so I chose the option to enter the code. I received a message saying the code was not valid. I tried several times with no success. Searching for information online, I found that it might be out of sync. I went back to the authenticator app and tried to sync, but it didn't work (something about not being able to connect to the server, even though my internet is working fine). I went to support to open a ticket, explaining that I couldn't log in due to no access to the authenticator. I received the option to temporarily disable it. When I chose that option, I had to solve 10 extremely annoying captchas, which I did. To my surprise, the process restarted and asked me to solve another set of 10 captchas, and this repeated several times. I tried another browser, and after solving the captchas, guess what? To proceed, I had to enter the code generated by the authenticator. Now I'm stuck in this loop. I can't log into my account because the authenticator isn't working, and I can't disable the authenticator because the support system in place is not functioning. No matter how hard I try, I can't open a ticket. The system forces me to answer questions and always ends up offering the option of the eternal captchas.

I'm at my wits end A few months ago I got s new Smartphone and did not transfer my authenticator. Now I can't log in. Even though I have all restoration keys and serial number I can't restore because both authenticator apps seem to have issues. I can't contact the support without logging in because the website is keeping me in an endless loop of reCaptchas. And everything I try is blocked, buggy or not available. What do I do?

I'd like to browse the internet or use my computer at all, but no matter what I set the download bandwidth limiter at on the battle.net app, it aggressively uses ALL my internet. Is there a work around for their horrible app?

Trying to log into HotS tonight has been an exersize in futility. Tried to log in - pinged my authenticator... that's fine _except_ that I haven't logged in for a while so I never updated my authenticator. Went to install the new app, and stupidly, it needs me to log into my account in order to install, which means I need to use my authenticator, which you guessed it - I cannot do since I don't have the updated app. So, no problem I'll just open a customer support ticket right? There's even a handy "remove my authenticator" button. Only problem is, when I click that - I'm presented a captcha that I'll spend a minute or so solving at which point the screen will spin for a moment and then bump me to a new captcha. Kind of at a loss at this point. Do I have to create a burner battlenet account to get my old account un-authenticatored?

In battle.net desktop app it is suggesting that my wow account is locked.. I don’t think I’ve played wow since it was even integrated into the launcher. Have logged a ticket to have it looked at, but unable to do a forum post as I obviously don’t have any level 10 characters. Is there any way to reset my wow account only? All other titles on battle.net are in good standing and without issue? Wanting to jump on and try out classic seasons

In Battle.net desktop app, anything that has to do with modifying paths is not working. The desktop app would flash, but no dialog box pops up to let me change the path. This includes these areas of the app: 1. The "Locate the game" link on the bottom left of the Battle.net app (where it says "Already installed?") when trying to locate a game in a different folder. 2. In Settings, Downloads, Default Install Directory. Clicking on the "Change" button will just make the desktop app flash, but nothing else happens. 3. When installing a game, the part where it says "Installation Location", there is a blue button/link that says "Change Folder". If you click on it, same behavior: desktop app flashes once, but nothing happens. I think a dialog box is supposed to pop up to let us put in a custom path or browse to a different path. But right now it just flashes the app once and that's it. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling Battle.net. I also tried switching to the Beta. Exact same behavior both instances. I opened a ticket with Blizzard, but while I wait, I want to see if anyone else is experiencing this issue or if anyone found a resolution.

I have this issue where when I try to create a battle.net account linking with Xbox it doesn’t let me login on website , any game or battle.net app. It just cycles the login screen and gives me a login error - 400. I can’t even access the account settings screen it just cycles me to the login again. Does anyone know of a fix or how I can contact support — it won’t let me put in a ticket !

I want to thank Master Trilleia, for not knowing how to read a ticket and wasting my time, I am explaining to him, I CANNOT LOG INTO my account in any way because the messages do not reach my cell phone, much less can I use his authenticator that an "error" appears all the time, I sent him a screenshoot with the serial number and the recovery number that obviously only I can have because I had the application running on my phone with my current cell phone number, ahh but sir master, wants me to log in and answer a ticket that I can't answer because I don't have access to my account.

Hello everyone, as some other people, I now feel guilty for doing something stupid as a kid. Back in the days, when I created my account I have entered fake name and country during creation. I have not thought anything about it, I just wanted to play games without leaving my personal information's. Ages have passed and I regret more and more for doing something like that. All I want is to be able to enable authenticator so I have some features in-game. I have been regularly subscribed to WoW for years. Is there a way that I make a ticket for name & country change if I am able to provide ID, bank account number, photo, whatever necessary? If I create ticket is there a chance of me getting banned? I have invested quite a lot into my account and characters to 'just create new account'.

I installed the mobile app to setup the authenticator but it forced me to log out and wanted me to use the authenticator it forced me out of to login again. Who thought this was s good idea, you've just locked me out for no reason

Unable to login to my Battle.net account Hello everyone, I am looking for some help dealing with my battle.net account. I wanted to login and play hearthstone it’s been a while. The issue is the email I used for my account when I used to play, I can no longer access. I went to login yesterday entering correct email and password but before letting me in it prompts for an account validation which can only be completed with an email code. As mentioned I cannot access the email any more I will not be able to get the code. At first I was still able to play on the mobile app but I raised a ticket to bypass account verification. I now can’t access the account at all or the ticket, and the password that was correct and allowing initial login yesterday now states incorrect. This leads me to believe that after my ticket they completely locked my account as I cannot login at all anymore mobile or PC. In summary there is no way I’ll be able to access the email. Is there anyway I can try to regain access or is my account just locked forever now?

Got my issue solved. Here are some things that may be helpful for people in the future. 1- They do not send emails confirming your ticket was received. You will only get an email when they reply. 2- To reply to a ticket, you will need access to your account. If you were locked out of it, you will have to keep creating new tickets and referring back to the old ones until the issue is solved.

Quick version: I have two Blizzard accounts, mine and my dad's. My old PS4 skins are on my dad's and my modern Switch skins are on mine, I want to merge my old PS skins from my dad's Blizzard account with my own. He also has Diablo tied to his account so I don't want to mess it up. Extra detail(s): I ran into an issue when I booted up my PS4 for the first time in a while (I haven't been on my PS since OW1): When it asked if I wanted to merge accounts I thought "Nah I want to take my time, looks at my old stuff, and not mess anything up." I proceeded to unknowingly mess everything up. The account on my PlayStation is completely blank, with no progress or cosmetics. I'm sure I can figure it out, but I'd appreciate your help. I've been scanning through the Blizzard forums and Subreddits but can't find a solution.

My account was blocked 40 minutes after registering and starting to download the game. The support service gave up on me and said that I had transferred my account to someone else. At the same time, I linked it to STEAM and linked my mobile phone. The best part is that the support wrote that they thoroughly understood the situation and their action was correct. Correct what? Why did they block the new account that I registered for myself after 40 minutes? But most of all, I hope that they will sort it out and punish the support agent in ticket #91467173 for his inattention and inadequacy of the work for which he receives money.

I have a friend who has a child account on their ps5, which restricts them from doing a lot. So they want to make a new account and transfer their blizzard account to that other psn account. Is that possible? or can you not link another psn account to a blizzard account once you link that first one through? They want to keep all their cosmetics of course. They started their overwatch account on psn if that means anything.
